  I’ve been driving from last 32 years. Drove a few makes and models of cars and currently driving a Model Y 2021. Never had this issue with any of my other cars. But why Tesla and KZread is screening about this same problem over and over again . Why Tesla is not doing anything to get rid of this trouble or do they simply do not care?

  Thanks for the video but that isn't a hard reset. A hard reset is when you hold the scroll wheels down with the brake applied till the screen goes black and continue to hold until you see the Tesla logo. Then you can let go. That is a hard reset.

  In Vermont, I take my Tesla through an underbody-rinse car wash every week in the winter, likely contributing to the water infiltrating the ball joint. This Spring, I rejuvenated the bushings with At-205 re-seal, and released the right-wheel ball joint and manually rotated it to get residual grease on the joint and it stopped squeaking for the past month. The left wheel started squeaking: I had tried rejuvenating the bushings alone on the left side and that was insufficient. I used a grease injection kit with water-resistant grease as well as the rotation on the left wheel ball-joint - complete silence on both sides. I'll report if one is worse for the wear than the other. This solution saved me well over a thousand dollars.

  People love to hate on new stuff, there are guidelines and safety measures that they must follow to make a car commercially available. The location isn’t even in an odd place, it’s actually in a place where you’d rest your hand. Also, if you don’t read your vehicles manual when you get it, you’re dumb. ALWAYS READ THE MANUAL, it has some very useful information.

  @@EveryAmp Thank you! I did put an aluminum Tape over the whole bottom of the filter after I saw Adams Videos. I have another 2020 Model 3 and really hoped Tesla fixed this issue but its the same design again.

  I just ordered a 2024 Model Y and thanks to your video, I added the tow package and now is only $1,000 bucks. I installed after market tow hitch to all my vehicles for over 20 years but thanks to your video I was like "Nope", I'm paying the addon and get it straight from Tesla. Thank you so much.

  Thanks for this post. I have a 2024 Model Y that I just purchased in late March and the passenger side rattles from that area. I'll be taking it apart tonight to investigate. From another comment, apparently they are putting felt tape in there now, so hopefully I find something to correct it.

  i think a lot of road noise comes in through the windows that is why some evs are using double glazing.. i don't think changing the suspension will make much differance, when a modern car goes past all you hear is the noise of the tyres on the road, that is the noise which enters the cabin.

  A two-bucket wash with water is always my first choice, especially with heavier dirt, but I'll go waterless when that's not available.
