I have this little notebook called Aeronote. It comes with an erasable pen, and the whole notepad is erasable and washable. They make bigger notebooks too however, unsure if theyre washable

I am an American Mom of 2 kids who had the opportunity to attend University on scholarships funded by lottery ticket sales (aka how dumb people try to get rich.) I attended the same University on an Academic Scholarship and graduated with a Business Degree in 1990. Lottery scholarships send people to college that have no desire to be there. Both of my kids dropped out. My son is a Tattoo Artist, and my daughter is a Chef. College/University educations are ridiculously expensive and truly only necessary for people pursuing STEM or Healthcare occupations. I commend you for studying Psychology. We need more smart, talented, and motivated people pursuing careers that help. My daughter felt so isolated and depressed during COVID when her whole world got shut down, we moved her back in with us and she got a full-time job, had a reason to get out of bed in the morning, and forced her introverted self to interact with other humans in real life! She was a fish out of water--City Girl forced to move to the Country and deal with a community of Right-Wingers and Farm Kids! She kind of hated it, but it forced her to grow up. She is back in her hometown (Albuquerque, NM), but she has $20K in savings, her own car, and is better-prepared to take care of herself because we gave her a "Safe Place to Land" when she was overwhelmed.

I’m a second year in uni, studying to be a PT. I definitely overthink and undervalue myself which is a deadly combo🥲.…(oh, and add procrastination to that) I wish you the best girl and I hope your channel continues to grow with you🤍

i had a fjallraven mini backpack, i was looking for it for a while. i finally confronted my mum about it, she said it was so dirty and cheap looking and i probably didn't even use it anymore, so she threw it out. i was in shock, i told it wasn't cheap and i could have just washed it. she then changed her story and said i probably lost it because i'm such a useless child...

I'm sorry to hear about what happened with your Fjallraven mini backpack. It must have been frustrating and disappointing to have something you valued thrown out without your consent, especially after searching for it. It sounds like it held sentimental value to you. You're not a useless child, and your worth isn't determined by material possessions.

I tried morning pages back in November. It made me feel even worse,I was constantly feeling an urge to write all the time and in that way I was spiraling more and more into darkness. I struggle with anxiety, depression,CPTSD and also I’m in eating disorders recovery. I still ramble in my journal if I’m really overwhelmed, but now I seem to find a perfect method of journaling-following daily journal prompts,so I’m working and reflecting on my feelings instead of just rambling and leaving journaling session being in even worse state than before I wrote. Morning pages can be a good method if your main task for some time is to just get into journaling,to make it a habit. But if you struggle with your mental health,I’d not recommend doing it… Anyway,it’s just my experience, yours can be different 🖤

I'm so so so happy you found a way journalling can help you. As someone who struggles with mental health issues, I completely understand the urge and the guilt that would come from not writing and would come FROM writing. Journalling is definitely one of those things that takes time to get used to, but it also is so fluid. Journalling with intention makes all the difference, and I will ramble in my journal, but I keep my emotions in mind, write out why I'm feeling certain ways, and reflect, and I word vomit onto the page haha. Prompts are SO beneficial when trying out guided writing, especially when finding what works for you. Your experience is valid, thank you for sharing your experience with journalling, I love hearing the different perspectives :))

Damn..one of the best journaling videos I’ve ever watched (I have watched most of them 😂) I hope you will be making more journaling videos, maybe even consider creating a separate channel for journaling videos (trust me,KZread lacks this stuff) (it’s just my idea❤) I’m 14, I have been journaling consistently for over a year now and every day for a little bit over 4 months Here are my tips: Tips on journaling every day/how to start journaling/ how to keep up with it ♥️ - [ ] THE MOST IMPORTANT:DONT JOURNAL ABOUT EVERYTHING. Before I got to my 11th journal I felt a pressure to update my journal MILLION TIMES A DAY (I was basically living in my journal lol). I felt like if I don’t write about what I had for lunch,my journaling session would be incomplete, but in reality, when I go back to my old journals, these types of entries are the most Boring. - [ ] If you are an emotional person and everything you do seems so significant, then try answering the same prompts every day to help you focus on what’s really impacted you during the day. For example, evening daily prompts can be: *1-How did i feel today? 2-What went well today?what did not go well. 3-describe yourself today with one word/sentence 4-what is one moment from today that you don’t wanna forget?5-what were one thing that made you smile/made today a bit better?6-I hope tomorrow will be…7- write 3 affirmations 8- three things that I’m grateful for today..* - [ ] Use a question “what went well today” as another way to ask yourself “what made me feel that way?” - [ ] You don’t have to write paragraphs if you answer “what went well today?” By writing about your day. It can literally look like bulleted list. Same with gratitude/affirmations - [ ] If you are constantly feeling an urge to update your journal millions times per day, think about changing the way you journal. I felt that way, when I was doing morning pages. If you just rant, try daily prompts or different prompts for a month to just try something new. Btw,I recommend searching for prompts on TikTok instead of Pinterest/KZread,you can find different, fascinating n non repetitive ones on TikTok. - [ ] Throw all the cringe out of your head. You don’t have to start your entry by “Dear Diary,he looked at me and I felt like he doesn’t love me enough” (I had that type of journaling when I was 10-11 lmaooooo). You don’t have to buy a journal on a lock and draw silly pictures w old pencil. You don’t have to😂 - [ ] You don’t have to art journal. There are a lot of KZreadrs who use all these Japanese washi tapes, stickers, postcards. But let’s be honest: they cost like a kidney ,and normal person doesn’t have enough time to make beautiful collages every day.+ in these videos they are sticking a lot of st,but neglecting the most important part of journaling-writing. - [ ] Make it clear. When I first decided to start every day journaling I was like “I’m gonna journal every day in the morning” . That’s why I failed. Make it clear. Write for example “I’m gonna write every morning at 5am before work for /…/minutes.” - [ ] Figure your “why”. Why do you want to journal? Why do you want to journal every day ? Has anyone inspired you? You want to journal for mental health? You want to journal to care about yourself? - [ ] Get inspired by other creators, but don’t copy them. That KZreadr you love has their life, values, problems. No journal can look the same because everyone is unique. - [ ] Go crazy. If you journal by just writing paragraphs of text, you may get into a journaling slump. Plan out your day/routine,write your study list of homework, glue pictures (you can use old school notebook covers if you don’t have a printer), track your habits, draw mind maps, jot down your ideas. Use your journal for literally everything (I even use my journal as a draft for Math test when we have an online test but don’t have a piece of paper near me lol ). Doodle, write a little notes if you don’t want to write details about something. It’s your space of freedom, use it. - [ ] If you love journaling, but put it off till the very last minute, try setting yourself a timer for 10 minutes. You will eventually keep writing when you already started. - [ ] Find a comfortable location, which will be associated with rest rather than work (that’s why I don’t really like writing on my desk,it has that “study vibe”’. I find journaling on my bed the best. - [ ] Write about documentaries, movies, songs, albums, that impress you. - [ ] If you’re the person who prefers just journaling about your day and prompted reflection doesn’t work for you (it’s okay, totally) figure out the way to start and end each of your entry. Like “hi” and then “good night/see you/etc” - [ ] Use your journal as a helping tool. I’m a recovering anorexic+binge eating disorder (proud to say,I’m *177*day free today,Feb 18/2024) ,I also struggle with depression, anxiety and CPTSD.Use your journal to work on your destructive thoughts/urges to relapse, track your progress, recovery and feelings. - [ ] Deadline. Set the time for yourself, after passing that you will have to journal on the next day. For instance “I can journal at 5am every morning, but if I oversleep,I can do it till 10 am ,and if I don’t do that till 10 am ,I can journal journal during my Lunch break ,but if I don’t do even that, I’ll have to journal on the next day” type of stuff - [ ] Stationary. Trust me, you don’t need all these fancy stickers and washi tapes for 100$ at first. A few highlighters, pen,a journal, and a pack of sticky notes for bulleted lists is enough. - [ ] ITS OKAY TO fill a half of the journal, get the new one, fill up the new one and then come back to abandoned one. There shouldn’t be any pressure. Don’t force yourself to write in a journal you don’t have a “spark” with. It may come later. Observe your feelings. If you don’t feel in tune with a journal after a while-consider switching. The only thing is that in the future you’ll be a bit confused about chronology but it’s NOT a big deal, just write “I’m switching to “ or “I’m coming back to” the next page you finish - [ ] Sticky notes. If you notice, that you’re overwhelmed with topics, write a bulleted list of topics you want to write about,so you won’t miss anything. - [ ] Pair journaling. Create an association between new habit (journaling) and something you got used to doing. Drink tea while journaling, journal after taking a shower etc. - [ ] It’s okay to miss a day, don’t beat yourself up about it,but don’t allow to miss 2 days. - [ ] If you’re a busy person n you are concerned that you will not be home really often, carry your journal with yourself - [ ] Don’t say you don’t have time, because I’ll show you your screen time 💀🤣. Journaling isn’t about having time it’s about MAKING time. - [ ] Use journaling as a resting reward after studying/work or as a way to start your day
