What I intuit is that one formula talks about potentiality and the other about actualisation. I wonder if there are particular, discrete dimensionalites to potentiality and to actualisation.

what has he actually contributed to physics though? just shows you had badly this has aged...he talks about a graviton and that turned out to be a load of bollocks later down the line...makes you wonder what else is bull shit. also that sweater is offensive LOL

At 16:03 what is the true cause of this dilemma is that in quantum physics are obeyed and time always goes forward this is the shadow algorithm or secondary reflection of primary string function no different then saying gravity and centrifical Force are the same

Confidently chatting crap..... The problem is when everyone hangs off your every word, bs isn't confronted. Case In point string theory is total crap. It's only because they don't want to look stupid that they keep trying to force string theory but they fail every time. All it is, is a theory. Not fact, not real, a theory. And a wrong one at that. What ever he's found isn't strong theory, it's something else, but they dont want to say hey, I've spent 30+ yrs building my career on something that was wrong. Therefore adding they were ever so stupid for not being open minded enough in the first place. Now they are just desperately trying to force a dead horse to work.

Oddly, in college as a physics major, I thought of vibrations and thought of relating them to particles. But no, I'm not smart enough. Vastly more intelligent people like Witten are needed to investigate the idea. Now? Now I think that there are valuable things to be gained from String Theory, but that the endeavor is doomed. What do I mean? I mean that the metaphor is too imperfect. Yes, it has led to insights. But String Theory is not the path forward to deeper understanding. Some other idea is needed.
