  Omg, I really wanted that color bc purple is my all time favorite color. But i had to go with the neutral beige color cuz i felt like it goes with my outfits as I tend to gravitate towards basic colors. Plus my friend told me this color suits me the best. But omg, I love this bag. The best purse and actually my first purse. I hope it lasts me for many years

  Hehe thank you so much. Hmmm… my pen favorites usually change from time to time. But as of right now, I really have been loving, pilot juice pen, the sarasa dry gel pen and the muji retractable gel ink pen ( all in 0.5mm) . I do like switching and recycling finished gel pen casings so I tend to buy the muji retractable gel ink refills rather than the pen itself so I can put it in the sarasa gel clip pen body as it is a more comfort fit for my hand grip. However, I do know that these pens are sometimes not accessible for people and a bit expensive. Have you been practicing methods of active recalling rather than passive? Have you been getting adequate nutrition or sleep? Do you take breaks? What does your study routine look like? Active recall methods includes flash cards, even spaced repetition, etc.

  Hello! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your first year . For tips, I would say: 1.) make to do lists as it will make you feel accomplished and motivated to keep on going as you check each task. 2.) learn how to manage your time. This is very crucial imo. Try using the pomodoro technique and modify it to your needs. For example, I personally dont like being productive for 25 mins intervals and fit in breaks. I like to be productive for 2 hrs at least and then fit a 45 min break in between. 3.) use more active memory recall rather than passive. So that includes, quizzing yourself , using flashcards or visual aids such as charts or diagrams. 4.) Try forming study groups for more motivation! This may sounds scary. Dw, we have all been there. It actually took me 5 or 6 semesters to make friends in university. I made my friends through my lab classes bc these classes involve lots of group work. Getting something to eat or getting coffee/ drink is great icebreaker 5. ) Please remember that what happens happens. Please don’t hate yourself if you receive a bad grade or fail. Remember it is normal, university is hard and most people have gone through this. Especially as a first year, university is far different from high school so you are getting use to everything. Give yourself credit for trying your best and getting through this pain. Everything will fall into place. Remember “ Failure shouldn’t be our undertaker, it is our teacher. Failure is a delay and is temporary, not a dead end. “~ Dennis Waitley. 6.) Try doing do something you like doing if you feel like you want to give up. Essentially takes breaks between study sessions to reset and increase ability to focus. For example, I like go out and get a drink with my friend then get back to work. I hope this helps.
