  Ford is weird with those electric clutch fans. My 09 f150 has that too, I saw a wire harness attached to my mechanical clutch fan and thought it was the strangest thing.

  Silly question , but im just curious- you said you went 3/4 turn after zero lash - I always thought it was 1/4 or maybe 1/2 turn max - is 3/4 what the cam card recommends?

  My 2012 c6z one owner bone stock made 513whp 490wtq! Thats with 4 cats folks! Coming from an 08 c6z, I’ve always heard rumors the 2011-13’s C6z’s made more power I never believed it myself until I owned one! So many subtle, refined differences like x pipes rather than h-pipes, zr1 mufflers, zr1 oil heater/cooler, zr1 radiator etc etc….The last few years IMO are completely different cars from my experiences. They also aren’t heavy either. Mines a full trim package 3lz (forgot the name) and it weighs 3160lbs with half a tank.

  Pull up beside a demon 170 and see who rules. GM has always been overrated, read your history and see how everyone bent over backwards to accommodate them when they weren't winning races! They eventually put so many restrictions on the 426 that it couldn't compete. Then GM was happy. But you are entitled to your own opinion.

  Oh p-a-l-ease. The stock 66 GTO was NOT going 12.9 sec in the 1/4 mile. I love GTO but facts are facts the A12 440 6 barrel was one of the quickest out of the factory.

  Your 66 GTO would have a 1/4 mile time of 14.6 seconds and the A12 is 12.9 to 13.32 🤷 better brush up on muscle car facts Einstein

  I’m gonna guess that’s gonna leak again. You should have checked the runout on that output shaft. Unless it was just warm out o rings on the sleeve

  Ignore the cubic inches. Ignore the performance, but don't ignore the year, 69, that this sleekest of designs came out of Detroit. Somewhat like the 60 Buick, it turned around car design. I have to admit the 60 Buick is still my all time favorite car of automotive art, but my first purchase of a new car, the 69-383 was the most beautiful, underplayed elegance of anything that ever came out of Detroit.

  As a 14yr old back in 1986, the 635CSi and Porsche 928 were my favorite cars. They still are. I owned two 928 models from 1994 to 2004 and loved them. The 635 is still a bucket list car.

  Beautiful car. I have a 1986 M635 CSi in Diamantschwarz with a Pearl Beige leather interior. Owned mine since 1993. My car is one of only 524 RHD cars from the factory, so it’s less than 10% of total production.
