@@purpleclock_njkim yep that's The Hong! But it was very satisfying to break the mental barrier, I don't think I've ever been that nervous for a solve😭
Fun Fact: That first solve 4.86 was actually my 2nd best time in comp, closest I ever came to actually beating my longest standing PR of 4.49 which was set back in 2019, hopefully one day I manage to take it down!
nice job! also i got my fto a bit early, but i’m struggling with l3t a bit since three of the triangles keep getting swapped around whenever i do the flipping alg, everything else is solved. do you have any tips to fix this?
@@purpleclock_njkim I guess the only tip I'd have for you would be to keep the left triple flipped upwards, and once you have the last 2 pairs ready, you'll use the triple that was already flipped up to preserve a separate pair, idk if it makes sense through the comments, but try watching some example solves, it's the way I learned to deal with curtain cases Note: when you do a sledge/hedge keep in mind that the left preserves it's orientation, and the others flip over (including the triangle under the front and back corner)

yes, this is a very unique puzzle indeed, there's just no puzzle quite like it, but I'm glad there's finally a more widely available mass produced speedcube fto that's very nice and smooth!
they should just add it to the wca at this point, its actually a twisty puzzle unlike clock
@@Sandw1chTurtle I agree, though I know clock has it's own challenges, 7-simul is not easy to learn, but yeah there's nothing currently in the wca quite like the fto, Fto is just a whole different beast

@@purpleclock_njkim I think someone else suggested that to me, it makes sense to be honest, only reason I've been titling it "Mo3" and such was cause I got the idea from Ryan Pilat who titled his that way, I'll keep this one the as Mo3 just cause it's already done and edited, but whenever I get another opportunity to make a video like this, I'll title it as "Ao3r" thanks for the criticism, it's good to know for the future

@@thehastycuber it's a really good method, it's different and makes the solve feel very fun, though I definitely want to learn more advanced techniques for it, but yeah now I'm method natural, if there's a good White or Yellow Side I use Yau, but any other color I go for Hoya without a second thought which is nice!

Well at least you made the cutoff. PLL Parity can be hard to recognize when you solving it really fast, I'd probably end up doing the same thing lol
Yeah I was happy to finally get cutoff, didn't expect it to end the way it did, but at least it keeps me motivated to keep pushing myself on 6x6, there's still a few events I need to get cutoff, and honestly never thought I would be able to but now I'm actually getting there slowly but surely!

Sorry to bring this up on you. But remember @TheSpeedCube6x6 was talking about how he hates me but likes my 6x6 video, well he uploaded the same video "Solving a 6x6 one turn per hour" That I uploaded 3 months ago and didn't say it was mine. He's been going on all my videos telling me how bad I am, and I've tried to report him but KZread doesn't seem to care what he's doing. I'm just asking if you have any advice on what I should do in this situation
Hmmm, I had a slightly similar situation happen with me a long time ago, honestly what I ended up doing(even though I had like 140 subs at the time) was announce it to my audience, let them all know what was happening, and ask for their support to take down their videos, this was back before the community tab was a thing so it was much tougher back then, but honestly considering you have a much bigger audience, you could make a community post about it and even make a short about it, after lots of reports the channel/videos that guy posted should be taken down sooner or later
