That's pretty much how I make mine, except I learned something new with the condensed milk. Thank you! And hey, it's fine as it is, but you might change the title to Chili con Queso Nachos, since queso means cheese, and "chili con queso" means cheese with peppers, and you have hatch chilis and jalapeno chilis in yours? Just a thought, take for whatever it's worth, not a big deal. God bless!

I have had trouble with buying butter milk then it goes bad before I use it up.....I just make my own now with whole milk and vinegar. U can GOOGLE that procedure up.

Tali, especially for hamburger meat, just wad up a few paper towels and stick them in the pan to soak up some of the grease. Leave a little for flavor and cook the onions and veggies . I pull my paper towels out with tongs or my hands and into the trash. It's easier to just stick a few paper towels to suck up too much grease rather than pouring it into a container. I definitely save my bacon grease, but I never save the hamburger grease.

I love nachos with everything you put on them Talli Faye ! Thanks for the tip on the evaporated milk and canned chilis making it taste right ! I know I use evaporated milk for a lot of foods like mashed potatoes , Mac and cheese , bread pudding , and other creamy casseroles also I use it as my wet part with the egg of wet dry coating of fried meats like chicken and pork chops , and using a can of evaporated milk and 1&1/2 cans of water to make Whole milk , momma taught us that trick , and I still use it today ! I keep several cans at all times I use it so much for so many foods ! Thank so much , God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

I love pickled beets and eat them right out of the jar. I don’t understand why people don’t like beets! I grew up eating pickled beets. I keep some in my pantry all the time. Be nice if we could use sprinklers. Drought prevents that. Y’all are lucky to be able to water your yard.

I just love the sound of this recipe. I do my cabbage several different ways. Ham and cabbage and cornbread. Ham cabbage carrots and potatoes and cornbread. Fried cabbage and bacon and cornbread. I have never tried cabbage your way with these wonderful looking pork chops. Your fried potato patties look easy and delicious. Your peach cobbler looks so similar to what I grew up with. I would definitely make this recipe for my family. You are really an awesome cooker. I thoroughly enjoy you.
