Oh man. You are playing it super duper safe. No level ground or something to level the spot for the pool? I imagine the cost in Germany to fill the pool and keep it filtered and clean would cost a small fortune. Probably a good call. My best friend in middle school had an above ground pool. We abused that thing and it never collapsed.

There’s certain products here on base at the garrison that they don’t carry in the economy or are taxed very heavily. For food, fruits, and vegetables, it’s always in the economy, since it’s always the fresher choice.

Yeah, this is what the landscape looks like here in the Upper Palatinate Bavarian district. (Mostly rural and sparsely settled compared to the rest of Germany). It’s full of low mountains with numerous lakes and ponds in its lowlands. We have forests 🌳 and there’s even a volcano 🌋in Parkstein, but it’s just haunted. Thanks for the birthday wishes and for thinking of me!

Sometimes, like whenever I need fresh eggs or milk. It’s mostly farmland that feeds the region. Sometimes the cycle paths run through them. This one time, an ostrich tried to race me. I found out that there’s other cycle paths also that can take you all the way to the Czech Republic or even to France. 😮🚴
