  My father was registered in Glenties (his birth certificate says) in 1923, trying to find out history of his family is hard, we think his father may have been an American but unsure about his mother, we’re not 100% sure on her maiden name, it looks like McTarey and we think she passed away in 1928, if she did, I wonder if she’s buried in Glenties?

  Hello. Thanks for the comment. I agree with you. The sounds of the town are certainly better than the music. I usually put music when the wind is strong and it’s impossible to watch. I’m planning to buy a microphone - with it there will be no wind, there will be clear sound of the city.
