Wasup y'all and welcome to my channel! The goal of this platform is to shine light on sports, preferably basketball. Join me as I give athletes there roses in the wonderful world of basketball 🏀 I focus on mainly women's basketball and will talk about men's hoops from time to time. UCONN can never be counted out. Geno is a very good coach and this past season most of UCONN players were injured and they still made the final four. So, if that team is healthy, they are going to be tough to beat.

Geno has never shied away from competition, UConn's out-of-conference schedule is always one of the hardest, it has to be because the Big East is rarely a challenge for them.

With you FrontStreet. Iowa CC fan, but Pili is my favorite. Why was that game or even the highlights not on media. WNBA has wanted fan base. They have it now. Don't blow it. Why can't all games be viewed on media. Even my local small college games are on local media. Pili had 38 last year against SC. Slaley said at third quater "We can't stop her. We just have to outscore them" Keep pumping out your videos.
Thank you so much. Pili is a baller LSU really had a tight game against Utah in 2023. The WNBA has a bunch of fans wanting to see the games and they are dropping the ball with broadcasting. Hopefully as the season goes by we see better advertising and broadcasting. I have more videos dropping soon, thanks for the comment.
South Carolina have a overstock team so me as a basketball player I don’t want to celebrate over overstock team that have all the talent you expect them to win

@@FrontStreetHoops Yes but let’s be real, the sport is getting popular now because of Caitlin Clark. No other player has caused people to pay attention to the game, Angel Reese is just along for the ride. Nobody would know who Angel Reese or Cardoso is if it weren’t for Clark. Reese wasn’t even the first draft pick on her team.

These 2 teams, unless already scheduled, will nNOT play one another until the final 4 or final unless they take a lot of L’s to earn a lower seed. USC will have to deal with a new conference, cross country travel and gelling as a super team.. Super teams do not win it all in year 1.
I’m biased but I think Texas is being disrespected way more than SC who is still deservedly #1 in the early polls. Texas is getting back All American Rori Harmon to pair with All American Madison Booker, two Top 10 recruits in Jordan Lee and Justice Carlson and a Top 10 transfer in Laila Phelia and no one is talking about us. Here’s my Top 5: 1) SC 2) USC 3) Texas 4) UCLA 5) UConn (none of the players they are getting replace Edwards and Muul)

Maybe, but teams that win have a deep bench, that can keep fresh legs on the floor with little drop-off, that's South Carolina. I am not an S.C. fan, but I'm a realist.

How do you knock down number one without them being knocked down? Last year (we) South Carolina we were number one until we lost in the final four and we lost all of our top players so I understand being ranked lower on the charts. But after we proved ourselves the rankings were adjusted. So then we acquired number one ranking, got the Natty and we didn't lose our top players that got us there. Cardoso wasn't our Caitlin Clark. She was just a piece of our success. The rest of the pieces are still in tact. So just like we had to prove ourselves first before the rankings were moved, these other teams will have to do the same. You can shuffle all the other teams all you want but number one should remain number one until they are not. I think some people are tired of South Carolina being on top and just want to see something or someone different.

I am glad Beers pick Oklahoma instead of UCONN. I am glad UCLA got T Gardner. Janiah Barker takes too many bad shots how many times her attitude is not good. Over and over South Carolina' is disrespected by the media in some type of way. UConn should be better Southern Cal should be a lot better. South Carolina could be better than they were last year
Im just happy y'all witnessing this. South Carolina don't deserve to get lucked over or skipped by any of those teams. Instead, the other teams should be fighting for the #2-#4 spots.
Beers is from Oklahoma..so she just went home...same with kiki staying in cali at usc..plus other oregan state player to usc. Final 4 looks like SC, usc, notre dame , and texas. If they rank SC at 6 again...lol they repeat for sure!!

I am biased, as an alum and fan of South Carolina - but bias aside... I don't understand how anyone could consider placing anyone above them in any preseason poll. All they did last year was prove the pundits wrong with an undefeated 38-0 Natty with a brand new YOUNG starting 5. They've already proven they can win the big games without Cardoso (looking at you UConn), so yes - her loss will be felt, but it is manageable - especially given the incoming recruitment class and another offseason of development for Faegin, Watkins, and Kitts in the 4/5 slots. This team will just continue to gel more and get even better than last year. If these pundits want to find their "super team", they really don't need to look outside of Columbia, SC, because they exemplify what it means to be and win as a TEAM. Iriafen, Beers, Kelly, etc - they are all just another cog added to a new team without proof of chemistry. Will South Carolina win another Natty? Lord willing - yep... but any way you slice it, the #1 spot should absolutely be theirs until someone figures out how to knock them off that perch.
Those teams have not been tested but based on who they are and the level of talent on one team they are trying to put them at #1. I agree with you, thanks for the comment

You see how Morrow decision turned out now kiki's decisions remain to be seen but time will tell....
I can appreciate why FAMS are feeling disrespected. 23-24 team was preseason #6 because of the loss of their entire starting rotation (along with a key bench player) to the WNBA and graduation. Some may even argue that #6 was a bit generous - fair enough. But that "Day care" team swooped in, claimed the #1 spot, and didn't relinquish it, en route to an undefeated 38-0 Natty. The 24-25 team is returning every member (minus Cardoso) and is backfilling the 4/5 rotations with an incredible recruitment class (all the while, the current members will continue to build chemistry, practice, and get stronger - while further developing their games) - so until someone comes along to knock them off their perch, they are the standard bearer and should remain the #1 team in everyone's poll. Afterall, the standard of "returning players" is why they were dropped right? So, why drop them again when they are returning 90% of their Chip team? Can't keep moving the goalposts and not expect push back. The left coast USC "super team" will spend a big portion of the offseason behind the 8 ball when it comes to building the team's chemistry, so to put them over the TRUE USC - proves the only thing they care about is the flashy individual and not the merits of a strongly bonded TEAM. As a True USC alum and fan of the game, I relish in our team's willingness to accept the challenge, ignore the naysayers, keep their heads down and their chins up -- and just take care of business. Here's to 24-25 Natty incoming!
They still have to play together. South Carolina has beaten Brink , Kiki, Jones, and Betts all on the same Stanford team. The other girl from Oregon State already got some smoke with Beers.

I love KIKI game but I don't like that she claims to be visiting South Carolina before she made her final choice. I felt that was disrespectful to South Carolina that she didn't even visit. A Morrow of LSU did the same thing last year.
This is what a lot of FAMS are saying. Soon as a player mentions South Carolina it gets everybody watching. Only to go somewhere and not visit, its not a good look. We will see what happens in the future. Thanks for the comment.
South Carolina is still the team to beat, without question. These transfer portal moves are just bringing a lot more competition to spread out around the country. UConn, USC, and Notre Dame should be very good next year. The SEC is going to be INSANE next year. South Carolina will still likely win the SEC but with LSU, Texas, and now Oklahoma getting Beers- it's going to be a bloodbath in that conference. Crazy to think that this upcoming season NCAAW Basketball should be even more fun to watch than last year.
Benign Neglect, Yes South Carolina is being used and marginalized. Sometimes its better to be the hunter opposed to the hunted. Other teams are trying to build a big 3, I agree with Capt. Will, South Carolina has a big 10. Dawn's Day Care will more than likely repeat.

I don’t think SC is being disrespected. They are the champs and should be #1 until someone beats them. There are though a few teams that are serious contenders to challenge them. In my view, in order, it is: Texas, UConn, USC (all of which have Top 4 recruiting classes and Top 10 transfer signees and Texas & UConn are getting key players back from injury). Not LSU (still have an Angel Reese sized hole). Not Notre Dane (Miles return is not enough compared to what other teams are adding). Not National contenders but teams to look out for are Iowa State, OU, Auburn & Kentucky

UConn will be a different team too, at least 50pts were injured on the bench, and nobody expected UConn to reach the Final Four in their condition, and I do mean nobody, including UConn fans. I love JuJu, she is undoubtedly going to be one of the greats of the game. Howeever a healthy UConn against USC would certainly be interesting, but if UConn stays healthy they'll be too deep even for USC

I believe UCONN will be better than this season, I also believe South Carolina will be better. I am sure Southern Cal will be better with the players they have added to their team.

Every team has every right to check the portal. My opinion and statements are in support of SC. I addressed the "Do Not Contact" tag on my previous video. Nothing I said was negative, the negative thing is to keep putting SC in the fire saying "who they should play." Thanks for the comment.

These players trying to join forces to compete and SC is the obvious top dog. This season was suppose to be a rebuilding year for SC and look how that turned out for the rest of the country, they’ll only be better next season.
Based upon my humble opinion, everyone is loading up to to challenge S.C. but due to Coach Staley outstanding coaching, it's going to be tough to most teams to overthrow them. Providing there isn't any transfer from S.C. and providing they continue to stay healthy and focus, S.C. WILL be fine. The addition of Kiki would have been nice, but S.C WILL BE FINE. According to most pundits, LSU was crowned to repeat. We know the outcome. Stay healthy, play smartly and S.C. WILL BE FINE.
Honestly LSU didn’t have what it took to repeat, There was only 3 players playing from their championship team after Smith got hurt. These coaches trying to build teams thru the portal bringing in players that will have no chemistry playing with each other, and that will be their downfall just like LSU. They won’t beat SC like that!!

SC fan since Dawn came. I don't know who steps up next year to challenge us. UConn and USC are the obvious answers. I like Texas and Notre Dame. That said, I think it is ours to lose. I worry about chemistry and egos at USC. UConn can't seem to ever stay healthy. That's why I'm thinking the real contender is a little more under the radar right now. I don't know who though. 🤷♂️ I'm already looking forward to it. Go Cocks!

UConn has been a top-tier team for 33 years 95' first title, first final Four appearance was 91' with a player named Kerry Bascom the player whose shoulders all the other stars at UConn stand on. 2yrs of injuries out of the last 33 years doesn't qualify as an earthquake, sorry. I am no causal fan of the women's game. UConn class of 78' I love Dawn Staley and her contributions to the game, but I am an alum of UConn, bleed blue till the end! I was at UCOnn when soccer was the King on campus. the soccer team has 3 National Championships.

Nobody loved UConn reign except for UConn fans. Remember everybody was yelling at the top of their lungs about how there was no parity in women's basketball. There were a handful of teams that were at the top every year. Also have to remember that yes S. Carolina has only lost 1 game in the last 2 seasons but they only have 1 title to show for it.
