    COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW LONG THIS LAST IN YOUR HAIR?

  • @samanthadumont8759
    @samanthadumont87592 жыл бұрын

    With proper care, they can last a long time. You should take them out every 8-12 weeks, clean and detox the locs, also clean and detox your natural hair, then when everything is dry you can reinstall. While you're wearing them you can use dread shampoo to wash your natural hair+ the locs. There are lots of videos on here of how people care for them, and what products they use.

    Should I do this everyday

  • @kNINER-tj6mq
    @kNINER-tj6mq4 жыл бұрын

    No. Once you do it you shouldn't have to do it again unless the meds unraveled. I started my last set with twist and rip and after the initial process i palm roll newgrowth once a week with talijah wiijad or something like that loc it up gel. Get metal clips (bot Bobby pins) to hold your newgrowth when you retwist and blow dry it until it's dry at the root and then take the clips out.

    Mrs. Niner yoo can I show u my hair on Instagram or something and tell me if I’m doing it right

  • @kNINER-tj6mq
    @kNINER-tj6mq4 жыл бұрын

    @@deadstar4444 i don't have social media other than this. Just use a quarter sized amount of loc gel and apply it to your dread and palm roll in one direction. Put the clip about half an inch from your root so that it holds it in place and let it air dry or blow dry it. And that's your maintenance. You can use sea salt water spray to keep it tight but you shouldn't have to twist and rip anymore unless your ends are coming loose. If you're white, i had a a friend who used string to tie around theirs to keep them in form. And then cut the strong off. But weekly palm rolling will keep it tight

  • @fairybunz8583

    No but you can always use a crochet hook to tighten and lock the knots. I haven’t yet uploaded a video on that unfortunately
