    Don't leave your boards in the trunk man, it's so bad for them

  • @Mr.Hopper1
    @Mr.Hopper1Ай бұрын

    I mean... I have to assume the trunk is the home of 95%+ of skateboards that get used in the USA. Do you mean weakening the wood? That is all I can figure due to heat expansion and contraction.

    I do this too! Every year on Go Skateboarding Day I get up really early and I go leave a few brand new completes, and some lighty used decks, trucks, wheels, etc, at a few of the skate parks in harder neighbourhoods around town. I grew up in deep poverty and skating helped me, and I'd have been insanely happy if I came out to skate one day and there was a new set up there just waiting for whoever came along. So now I hopefully do that for some kids who have had it pretty rough, just like I did.

  • @Mr.Hopper1
    @Mr.Hopper1Ай бұрын

    Yea man, indeed. I would love to leave some at the park.. but I feel like people would take them just to take them. People steal big rails and such at our park all the time... A shame really. I just remember seeing guys out there that had no deck trading off time with other people. I am at a stage in my life where I can help provide for those folks.

  • @recklesstoboggan
    @recklesstobogganАй бұрын

    @@Mr.Hopper1 Yah, that's a bummer. I never really thought like one person would take all the stuff I leave, instead of a bunch of people taking just what they need. I guess I'll have to consider that this year.

    Jesus is coming soon.He loves you. He lived, died and resurrected for you and I. Accept Him and be Saved. Repent and Preach the Gospel before it’s too late. “For God so loved the world that His Only Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right.By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away.But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls. 1 Peter 2:24-25 (NLT)

    I have a pair of Zeiss 10X50 Jenoptems that were also out of collimation. After watching this video multiple times I purchased an adjustable spanner wrench and had a friend with a machine shop turn down the nubs on the wrench to thin spindles. This made a perfect collimating tool and I was able to collimate the bino's in about 10 minutes. Thank you Mr. Hopper.
