St. Olaf College

St. Olaf College

OLES CAN. OLES WILL.
At St. Olaf, we don’t turn out typical college grads. We turn out Oles (Oh-lees). Oles are the people companies want. Oles are the people the planet needs.

St. Olaf is the difference between finding a job and loving a job.
Beyond a great education, St. Olaf provides one-on-one career coaching and peer advising. We do everything we can to ensure that Oles are able to leverage their education into a job that’s meaningful and relevant.

Mum also recently died from dementia, this song was a non negotiable at her funeral painful and joyous at the same time. A beautiful rendition thank you.

A beautiful melody and lyrics reminds me of my dearest friends with fading memory. This piece gives such comfort and peace blessed in Gods holiness to remind us to be gentle and kind as our loved ones fade away while still here on earth.

Such beautiful work. If I could do over my youth, I would love to have studied biology and natural sciences. The phrase, “Do something you love and you will never work a day in your life” is true. I’m on the verge of retiring and I’ve worked every day of it. Choose passion over money!

We need more men like him to teach others respect and reverence for God and sacred things. Great men like him rest in peace and their works do follow them.

As an older person suffering some memory loss, this piece always brings tears to my eyes. I'm a pianist (accompanist) and I'd like to compliment the pianist in this recording as having played perfectly.

This is music we sing every Sabbath in my Faith; the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You can also hear it online by listening to the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra on Temple Square. Look for Music and the Spoken Word.

Although my dear husband recently passed from Alzheimer’s, it was music such as this most evenings that soothed my soul and helped me continue caring for him. I continue to find peace in sacred music in his absence. I know he is safe and well cared for and his suffering has been relieved.

I suppose that one woman in the audience is allowed to yawn at 2:13. She's probably had a long day. Anyway, she can always listen to this particularly amazing performance on KZread after she's all rested up. 😉 Get the chills then.
