  Make sure you are plugged in. Drivers are updated and there are no background applications running that may be using the resources. Go to task manager by Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select task manager, sort the application by memory and CPU usage to see if any app is consuming resources.

  You probably already figured it out, but you can change graphics settings under Graphics > Advanced Graphics. The UI design in that part is not great as it seemed like the option is not selectable. Still great upload showing game performance on default settings for RTX 2050 👍

  in some case FSR give better fps. I have also tried FSR mods, which has AI frame generation. DLSS is good, but in cases where you don't get basic performance, it is worth a try. PS: DLSS frame generation is not supported in my RTX 2050.

  I have a question - in Xbox Series S will gave you 30 fps while its only 4 teraflops why rtx 2050 gave 10-15 fps while its more that 4 Teraflops ?

  the biggest difference for me is the VRam. Series x has 8gb VRam+the developers really worked to optimize it for Xbox Series S. My 2050 has 4Gb VRam, developers have made no efforts to optimize the game for lower end PC. there are many AAA that works and are playable. This is probably one of few that are not.

  Sometimes i get micro stutters where my fps drops from 200 to 118 ( below 144) it's not a big deal but still it's annoying to me, i updated my drivers and reinstalled the game still it's happening, any fix?

  do you have any other software running at the same time? if so, try closing it to see if improves. even sometime overlays can cause mirco stutters.

  I just bought a hp victus 15 laptop and it has a rtx 2050 would ffxiv on my laptop play similar to how yours does in this video and do you think it would be able to handle the game well later on

  I sure hope so. I think performance should be close to what I have in the video. for later on, I am not sure, as the games are moving to UE5, 4gb Graphics card is becoming a bottle neck. I still managed to run nearly 99% of the games include many of the latest AAA titles. Exceptions are very few. You can browse the videos on my channel.

  It depends on your VRam of the gpu, If you at least 6Gb VRam, it will play.

  Btw your laptop can even do better performance, you have 2 fps counter which is why its under perform and sometime bug.

  kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJmLl6igaLnTfag.html, see this video. It is a 10 years old game. I started with Ray Tracing on but had to turn it off because the performance was really bad. New DLSS offer AI frame generation, that feature is only in RTX 40 series cards. Not available in RTX 2050. I have tested some games with FSR mod which enables frame generation. If you want I can also share the link to those.

  I don't use obs from gameplay, I use the Nvidia's shadowplay to record gameplay. if you have rtx gpu than you can do that by pressing ctrl+z to get the overlay and start recording. (alt+f9).
