  This was a test tape, it aired in the middle of the night on 16th November 1990, whilst BBC2 was off for the night, they used this as an oppurtunity to test the idents without the logos, as the logo was added on after.

  When TOTP’s decline started. Nothing against the Year Zero era (1991-94) but the ratings began to fall. Then Ric Blaxill came, he brought the Radio 1 DJs back, but also hired a lot of guest presenters, several of which were not very good.

  1981 to 1985. So it’s longer than 2 years. It was replaced by Paul Hardcastle’s, The Wizard in 1986.

  i did the story boarding for this, it was CGI by printed out and hand drawn over the top. when i was at digital pictures. i still have frames in a box at home somewhere.
