Jann Newton | Beauty Over 60

Jann Newton | Beauty Over 60

Since menopause, I've been dealing with sagging neck skin, fine lines, wrinkles and weight gain. So, as an over 60 year old woman, I'm on a pro-aging (not anti-aging) journey.

This includes starting a skincare routine, (which I've never had before), eating healthier, losing weight, learning how to apply makeup and wearing clothes that don't make me look frumpy.

The content that I share here will be things that you can do at home, and at a much lower price than in-office procedures.

I love to do lots of research on skincare and pro-aging, (anti-aging devices), so you won't have to. There will be lots of before and afters, and reviews of devices and products. What's working for me personally, and what's not.

So, if you can relate, and you're wanting to look the best that you can at any age, then this content will help you on your own pro-aging journey!

If you find my videos helpful, I would love for you to subscribe to my channel!

Great tutorial. Your pillow cover finished size is a 17” square for an 18” pillow form. Is it standard to make the cover smaller than the pillow form? Thanks in advance for your response.

And that's me making a big mistake right there! That's what you get for being a guy I guess. I was making kites as a hobby some time back, but for about 8 years. Learned to sew from my mum as a kid, but even at the age of 70 I never made any curtains. I can see the logic behind the 4 inch double turn-up, it adds weight to the bottom. But I've only left a couple of inches! Doh! 😅 I've started making a stair curtain for my adopted sister, but never checked out the right methods. I already attached the heading tape, and it's already hanging on the ground floor stairway to keep some of the heat downstairs during winter time. I was planning to finish it off this summer, but now I see my mistake. Hmm, perhaps I can use the material I trimmed off, and add it back on. The fabric is cream coloured with drawings of forest animals, deer, pheasants, foxes, rabbits etc, but she says it doesn't need to look perfect as no one else will see it. I'm going over there this weekend, so wish me luck. 😁
