I’ve got lots of javelina on my trail cameras and many times with the babies. I’ve never seen the babies play like this. Very cute. Just the teenagers with the zoomies playing chase.

They're cute when they're Babies! But when they grow up, they get mean and ugly! But I am surprised that they can be tamed! Those Adult Javies seem quite calm & mellow!

The doves recognize that their predator's talons are tied up. The hawk is not in hunting mode.

The doves were alert from the moment the cooper's hawk came into the general area. They were watching everything. Morbid attraction.

Great moment! It is very unusual to see woodpeckers not on trees. Cactus would be the last plant I associate woodpeckers with. Also, a desert as a place of living for woodpeckers sounds almost unrealistic!

Cooper's hawk catching a sparrow? Wow, what precision and what eyes! Thanks for sharing and seeing up close what a Cooper's Hawk looks like, subbed to a KZreadr who lives in upstate NY, and a video he took in August of this year, he points his camera in the direction of a tall tree with 3 of these hawks in it! But those images were of li'l white dots in a sea of dark green leaves.:)

My trick is to start low. I have a video (I know it sounds like I'm asking for views, that's not it) in which I sing a "high-up" song, but I start low. If you want you can listen to it, especially if you compare it with the original, which starts off wáy higher (the original is Maluka-The Dragonborn Comes. Lady with guitar with headphones on.) In my video, the first word ("my") is a low sound, much lower than Maulka's sound, I slowly went upwards and sang high in a "low key" (if I'm correct with the music terms.) If you start out low, you can go pretty high without cracking. But if you start high, you'll strain your voice too much. Or at least, I do.
