How stupid is it that the bottom one doesn’t have a drawer so you gotta take everything off just to open it 😂😂
I totally despise those combination drivers they do not feel comfortable in the hand and they feel cheap Don't get me wrong I'd like the brand on other tools but not These But it don't matter what brand when it comes to combination drivers like this that are all junk in my opinion and they do not feel good
These are also not electrical ratings and working in control panels we are working with 110 V 220 V AC and 48 V AC low voltage not about to carry around this brand which is very costly that are not electrically rated
For many years I used the B wire code. But when a it guy come to location to hook up service it seems they all use the B code. Witch I don't like they clearly can see I set up all useing the B. But they do A. Witch witch ever A or B used should be the same across the oard for best service. 2nd I use to use standered rj54 plugs. I have 20/20 Vision. And struggle to get the wires into the right location. These plugs are not clear plastic.. more on a foggy side. I Even gonna as far as using a magnifying glass to double check. All looks good so I'd crimp. Hook up cable tester an 9 out of 10 it show a short. I use to waste so many plugs. Even checking 4 to 5 time before crimping. An short would test. Then looking over the plug every wire is were it should be but cable test fail. I later seen these pass through plugs come on the market. I was skeptical because of the bare copper at the ends in causing corrosion. Was not until 2 years ago I changed over to useing only top brand name pass though plugs an trouble free. I see you useing a 1 step punch down tool. Never seen this before or even the tool. Only use the one at a time punch down tool. I Skeptical of the tool you're using as you cannot see clearly what's happening with each connection As you punch it
Off topic.. I want to see a how to low voltage wireing for say a 6 port in floor heating manafold. They come standered with flow gages temp gages flush ports an valves. Each 1/2" pex loop has a valve you can manually turn on flow or turn off or adjust flow. You can add solenoids Activators. One must be a 3 wire master and the rest are 2 wire. When useing to control a loop in floor heating you can install a 2 port 1" taco 48volt zone valve Connected to the thermostat to control the infloor heating on all loops and not need the Individual so nowadays on the manifold. But in a set up were you use these manafolds as a zone control for 5 Individual Thermostats. One must be a 3 wire master. The other 4 are 2 wire slave. .. the 3 wire master tells the boiler to fire. I like to see a low voltage wireing for this set up.. I joined with hopes of finding this type of set up as well as many others in hot water heating. But it seem all your stuff is ads promoting products. Mainly network cabling witch I know in side an all most, out No real world work.
I don't like any of those. I use Fiskars PRO PowerArc Steel Straight Cut Offset Snips or Wiss 7-1/2 in. Titanium Coated Tradesman Utility Scissors because they're very comfortable, inexpensive, cut really well and they spring open on their own.
I see that g-shock 700. 👀
The tool is really great! But this face on the entire screen in the frame is definitely inappropriate!
A great video brother. I love Knipex tools as well. I have those same linemans pliers. I havecthe cobras and the forged wire strippers and the angled electricians shears. I just gave my co worker the regular electricians shears scissors. I love the angled shears. I just purchased the bottom Klein rolling box and the middle medium tool box. Next up will be the top box. I also purchased the organizer. All @lowes. Have a great week brother. 😊
Had my Kleins break after it fell outta my pouch. Getting the knipex in the mail.
those southwires break fast.
Those strippers are the best tool i own by far.
Wiss CW5T???
yellow handle snips are my favorite
Ok, but good thing we all have access to a dictionary, except for the people over at Knipex.
It's a personal preference. I bought several model of Klein snippers throughout the years as the backups when they were on sales, but I have been only using Knipex snippers on the daily basis for over two decades.
A great video brother. Im building my Klein ModBox ecosystem as we speak.😊
A great video. I'm in the Klein ecosystem. I love me some tools brother. Take care.
It is [cable cutters] too small
Did I hear right? I need all 4…
Hey I’m pretty indecisive on whether I should get the 32303 (the 14-1 you showed) or the 32304. I think the 304 would be neat, however, i’m really after a stronger magnet, as I will always be carrying that 7-1 shaft as well. I was wondering if you could speak to the magnetic strength between those two shafts. Which One holds bits better? Also, is the 303 magnetic portion slimmer than the flir 1/4(5/16) socket? I often work in tight panels and that would also influence my decision… THANK YOU
It still seems to be on sale, but the Brother webpage indicates that the PT-E550W has been discontinued. It looks like the current series is P-TOUCH EDGE series: PT-E560BTVP, PT-E510VP, PT-E310BTVP, and PT-E110.
Electrician here. I own both and prefer the Klein. The knipex model shown here are very nice and feel good in the hand but the leverage is LESS than Klein. Notice the rivet to the cutting knives, Klein is higher which provides more leverage. The knipex will require more force to cut through MC cable versus the Klein. This is why most Electricians prefer the 10" Knipex diags which I do not own so I can't comment on. I wish the 8" Knipex had the leverage of the Klein cos I prefer the handle shape. Knipex cutting knives are aligned better then Klein which provide a clean, precise cut such as tape, aircraft cable, or the silk string in low volt cables. Both are great tools though.
Be careful with this unit. They auto shut off which is a MAJOR pain on a big job.. imagine trying to find the wire across the building when the generator has auto shut off. It nearly went out the window after the 5th time. No way to turn off auto shutoff.
needs a metal tip to short the tone.
can we please get a update on this? Thank you brother!
I like Klein tools but why are Klein now made in Taiwan? That was very disappointing.
That's trash nothing beats packout
Nice
Cost prohibitive. Much less expensive ones for the average person.
The 240 is mm about 9 1/2 inches.
Modularity and being able to put half widther organizers and what not on top is what makes pack out the king. Look forward to checking out this video when I get a minute
Well shit I have two different platinum tool crimpers to do cat6a. One with pass through cutter and another with the tang crimper. Will have to check these out but, I'm really looking for longevity the most. Not something that get s sloppy after a few installs
I’m trying to decide between this and that of TrueCable…. They both seem good however I don’t see any comparison videos between the 2 Looks like KZread is flooded with TrueCable video I’m leaning towards this one because now please excuse my lingo because I’m a noob and only buying as DIY So anyway I’m leaning toward this one because the keystone has alignment teeth for the wires and they don’t need to be completely unraveled which supposedly makes it quicker work and more reliable because it’s easier to keep the twists Please feel free to correct me on anything I commented Bottom line which one is better for a DIY inexperienced person like myself
The 3 drawer and the 2 drawer both bottom drawers are kind of worthless, I guess that's why you didn't show them?
Not if you use them to organize a trailer, capacitors, contactors, etc
milwaukee level are shit, Mine is broken in like 2 months
i hate mod plugs, give me passthrough all day.
For the love of God, all we want is a bottom drawer with wheels.
That would be what we call “too easy”
@@connorbrown5613absolutely
I 100% agree. The first manufacturer to do it will get my business. I heard a rumor that Klein and Toughbuilt might be making one. I really hope Klein does as I want to switch from packout to them.
Completely agree. Bottom box is a pain for all brands
It's on its way apparently...
Where did you buy the bottom draw witn wheels???.
Nice 🤟
Can you use a rj45 pass through tool for regular jacks as well?
Bros heavily addicted to drugs and obsessing over the wrong things💀 You got them dead heroin eyes bro. Get some help.
A great video brother. I just left Lowes and touched these mod boxes. I'm sold. Rigid does a good job as well.
Curious, does it still maintain the CAT6a rating even without shielded keystones on the ends?
This cable was 21ft and not in a production environment so once you introduce additional infrastructure and interference, it will likely have different test results.
CAT6A is available in either a shielded or unshielded solution
OMG, that ability to plug in the SFP. I am, sold. Great Video. LVN I am so impressed man
Okay. I believe but let me tell you something in our country every CAT6 cable has a plastic protector inside the cable but your cable doesn't have that. That's why I got confused. But I see there are so many over-smart people on earth who think they can call anyone anything they want even if they don't know them. Maybe in Western countries, people forgetting their manners day by day.
The spline helps with crosstalk but is not a requirement for CAT6… you’ll still certify for CAT6 and get 1gig speeds. This cable actually certified for CAT6A with a good amount of head room.
Haha I find it hilarious that assholes on the internet need to call you out on SOMETHING, and you’re going to lengths to prove the trolls wrong. Why anyone would assume in 2024 that you’re using Cat5 is beyond me. Instead of wasting time on haters nit picking, I would love to see install vids and possibly even tutorials on things like building cable tray, TR design and build outs, dressing closet ends of cable, or device install. There’s so much more to low voltage work than what you get in these shorts or tool reviews. I get the tool reviews are probably more lucrative for the channel, but let’s get some more educational material for the trade out there! When I was apprenticing to be an electrician, I could watch educational KZread videos about the trade all day long and still have more content to go through from channels like Electrician U. You might not get advertising money from doing such vids, but you’ll be helping the tradesmen who work in your industry.
Relax dude I’m building out an entire course and studio so I can build an MDF and IDF. These short videos take 5 minutes… the high effort stuff takes hours and days.
turn trolls into teachable moments… and more content about cable certification #lowvoltage #tools
Magnetic 11in1 14in1 tweaker Regular and tweaker 27in1s 5/16 flathead Thats all you need
You’d think by now a certifier could be on our phone and a attachment
I prefer cable cutters to wire shears or diagonal cutters.
VC the best for Keystones & keystone tool !
