  My dad isn’t perfect by any means but when I was teenager he was a lot like Phil, always the first to crack a joke and do stupid stuff with his kids but he always had that protective instincts and always made sure that he had all of his kids backs and does to this day

  As someone who grew up without a dad this hits hard for me I know he was acting but you can see the fear and worry in his eyes like he knows from experience I want to know my biological father my mom wasn’t in my life either so I lived with my grandparents and what happened to me there I won’t speak of but I don’t wish anyone has to experience any of that I wish you all well and happy lives but now me and my mother is in a better situation/place and I have my own business now I make candles and wax melts and my mom has a new man that treats her like a queen I love my new stepdad to death and I get to see what its like to have a dad that wants to have something to do with me and I don’t have to worry about me or my mom getting hurt by him he loves my mom to death and will protect us with his life now I know what a real father is ❤ I’m 21 now about to be 22 it took this long but now I have my family like a real family and I’m so scared I’m going to lose it I just got my mom back and we are a real family ❤😢 I know how she feels growing up not feeling loved just used it messes with a person I have trust issues I’m working on I’m just scared I let someone in I’m going to get hurt again or I lose it all again and I don’t think I can go through that again

  I feel so bad for her. Yes she had much different desires from her mom but her mom made it seem like she wasn’t as important as her genius of a sister. This scene really made me love Phil- he truly loves his kids and he just doesn’t know how to show it to them
