Nice hit. I never had much luck with top water, but the ole rattle trap brings them in every time.

A Rebel lures crawfish usually picks them up around here in Texas when they won't hit top water, stop start action is deadly. It's usually warm even in the mornings here and they rarely hit topwater for me either, the old crawfish brings them in though. And if that fails then on to plastic worms, although I find worm fishing kind of boring.
