    Good question! Depending on which part of the video you are referencing, you can use a large and dry flat brush to blend things out. Please be sure to use a light touch as you blend- best of luck!

    Are you letting the layers dry in between coats or working wet on wet?

  • @AcrylicArtsAcademy
    @AcrylicArtsAcademy23 күн бұрын

    Good question, during the beginning stages the blending is wet on wet as you work. During the middle the later stages, you may want to wait until things are dry before adding the brightest highlight or details with the deepest shadow color. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.

    Well a few things I disagree with. In landscape paintings more distant objects frequently become lighter not darker. I actually find it easier to darken colors rather than lighten them considering the transparency of most colors. I am sure that these are probably personal preferences or thoughts

    I just traced an outline of a watch. I removed all of the branding info as well as changed a prominent word from the watch face. Can I sell the design on tee shirts?

  • @AcrylicArtsAcademy

    Unfortunately it would be best to avoid this- especially as it’s a direct copy of their watch design, even if the wording is changed.

    I am painting with apple barrel. The red and turquiouse seem fine but i cant get yellow to be uniform even in the 3rd coat. Any idea why is that and how to get it to cover uneven spots?

  • @AcrylicArtsAcademy
    @AcrylicArtsAcademyАй бұрын

    Great question! It may seem backwards, but try adding just a little white to the yellow. It will make it less see through, though it may take 2 or more layers. Best of luck!

    Hello I am creating art particularly portraits of models fashion models that I've painted and modified color skin textures is this legal before I continue because paint is so expensive I want to make sure but it's very difficult for me to hire a model right now

    Hello- are you planning on selling these paintings of models? If not, these rules won’t impede your art making. These guidelines come into play if you’re attempting to profit off someone else’s likeness,artwork, or specific photographs. If you need royalty-free imagery, try pexels.com

    @AcrylicArtsAcademyАй бұрын

    Hello again, you're welcome! So if you want to sell them, make sure you've only use the photo as a reference and haven't copied it exactly. Typically you must make your artwork much different from the photo to make it your own. This could come down to changing the facial expression, the general style, or the clothing of the model photos you are painting. These laws vary by country so you'll need to look up the rules for your particular region. Copyright law can be...complicated and this video is a general guide. If you know the photographer who took the photos, you can ask their permission to be safe. If not, be sure to look up copyright law for artists in your home country.
