This all started as a way to document my hikes in Colorado and has turned into a site to help share the tips and tricks of traveling in Colorado and abroad.
I’ll help you answer the question of “what should we do?” I’ll fill you in on where we ate, what we saw, what things were good, and how we captured it with our camera. I want to help save you time on your travels by bringing you honest opinions at every destination we visit in Colorado and abroad.

For sure!! Thanks for checking it out

Thanks for checking it out!
What a fun trip! Can’t wait to take bub to Canada 🍁👨👩👦 🇨🇦
So many adventures to come!! ❤️😊
Ye it was fun but someone was stopped and I was at fast and crashed I broke my jaw and my me ankle
DAMN! You can hit the breaks on this?
You can! Make sure you wait a little at the top and it helps to have a buddy go in front who you know won't slow down. You definitely need the brakes a little though!
Sounds like a skill issue glad you’re alive tho
Beautifully done video! I enjoyed watching. Thanks so much!
Thanks for checking it out!!
I love this place but they’re not allowing parking next to the trail anymore. 😢 any idea how am I supposed to get there? Or where to park?
It’s so sad! Definitely a hike I want to return to, but the parking situation now has kept me away for a few years. I think pretty much only option is parking in Vail and taking the bus to the trailhead. There’s some free parking and some paid garage parking!! Good luck and I hope you make it!
And may I ask what made the end challenging
It just got a little more steep at the end, which, after hiking miles already, made it a little more challenging. Nothing too crazy at all though!!
Hi! What month did u go in?
I went in July! So now would probably be the perfect time, especially with all the rain we’ve received!
This is my fave.i love hiking to booth lake, for me this is the best
I agree! It was magical before the mountain goats, but that put it over the top as my favorite hike still. Thanks for checking it out!
@@KellersInColorado yeah no prob. Keep making these amazing videos
TFS how far was the airport to the hotel? Does Hyatt offer transportation or did u use taxi?
It was quite a ways actually - I remember it was further than I expected. Maybe 30-45 min? We used the Costco transport company!
Is this a good place for singles?
Honestly, I would say no. Definitely more oriented towards couples and families. Thanks for checking out my video!
WOW thank you for the video. Where did you buy the float? Does Hyatt Zilara has float to use? Which Club room number did you stay at? Any recommendation on which restaurants to eat? Planning to go in December 2022.
I’m fairly sure we purchased them on Amazon. The resort does not have floats of their own for people to use. All of the restaurants were excellent, so you can’t go wrong. Just pick based on what cuisine you’re feeling. Thanks for checking out my video!
Thanks for the video. The Animas river looked fun. I might try it, hope we have enough time. Mountain Water was the company correct? Was it pricey? I hope I don't suck as bad as you bro lol. Your girl did awesome 😂✌
Yep, mountain waters rafting. It was in line with others, but the kayak option drew us to them since we had been rafting many times before. Thanks for checking it out!
So beautiful! How long was it before you reached the Broome Hut?
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!! It was just barely over a mile to Broome Hut, so not too far into the hike!
Beautiful! When was your trip?
We were there the first week of September 2021. Thanks for checking it out and I'm glad you liked it!
Well done, to bad it's snowing out now in April. Would love to hike that trail
You have to check it out in the summer if you get a chance! Still my all time favorite but I think the mountain goats have something to do with it! 😄
The train ride looked so cool!! I’m dying at the kayaking segment 😂😂
Thanks for watching!!! I'm just glad we somehow made it back in one piece 🤣
I thought you were supposed to stay in the kayak... 😁
I tried!! 😂 that water was so cold I definitely didn’t want to fall in!!
Still cracking up at the missing water shoe 😆 what a great trip!
😂 Thankfully the other raft was able to fish it out and all was well with the world again!!
Did y'all play some cards? 😜 Edits are evolving nicely!
Appreciate it man! We stuck to the craps tables this trip, but I’m getting Carly into a poker room when we go back in December! I might need some practice in Blackhawk first though 😆
The Columbines 😍
Definitely my favorite wildflower! 😊
Looks like you had a fun Lake of the Ozarks trip 👍😁
Thanks!! It was a blast and we’re already ready to go back!
lol the 4 leaf clover is a must on our road trips!
It's definitely not a road trip unless we have one! Glad I could miss an exit and make that happen :)
Hello, good video. What month did you visit?
Thank you!! I appreciate you stopping by to check it out. This was in the middle of July
@@KellersInColorado Thank you very much for answering, I am planning a trip just for that month but I still don't know which trail to take, maybe the Rocky Mountain National Park, but I like that lake: Marys.
You can’t go wrong with either of them! St Mary’s is a short/easy hike. If you plan on visiting RMNP, make sure you get a reservation online. July reservations should be open now.
@@KellersInColorado I just booked right now my friend, I have chosen a 7 person group guided tour, because I live in Naples florida and it is my best option not to drive myself from Denver. Thanks.
Yeah, nice vid with excellent color/contrast and interesting music - good work - panning sometimes to fast, the up and down movement by walking can get minimized with "ninja walk" and stabilization in post. As you have not much variety in the shots, the vid is much too long, after 3-4 minutes is all told/seen. Ciao Rob
This is amazing feedback - I really appreciate it! A lot of the things I think I realized myself watching it through after a day. Seeing a lot of the same things and the panning needs to be much improved. Thanks again!!
Struggle bus right here 🙋♀️
There’s a reason I didn’t include videos of myself trying to walk in the snow! 😁
another beautiful view hiking trail.
Glad you enjoyed it!
wow what a beautiful place in Colorado i like it .
Thank you so much for checking it out!!

Sick! Video edits noticeably improving! Good stuff man
Thanks man!!! I appreciate you checking it out! Trying to make things a little better each time, so I'm glad you noticed!
Very cool hike. And great too see the goats at the end. Thanks for sharing
I appreciate you checking it out! It was my first encounter with mountain goats and it was definitely exciting
The title could be "A walk in the clouds". Truly remarkable ☁️☁️☁️
One of my favorites so far! Will definitely have to go back
Cool hike!
Thanks!! The overlooks were amazing and could've sat there all day!
