Charlie is a very beautiful cat. It looks like you have a great camera, but you should add a stabilizer.

If your cat is eating grass it can possibly mean that it has parasites, and is trying to get the parasites out using grass.

I imagine they like the snow. Mine did. I would haul water out to them and they would look me in the face and eat snow.

If you have to get rid of them, you might look for people who just have sheep as pets or youngsters who want a few to get started. Hopefully you won’t have send them to auction.

When I first started watching videos of raising sheep in Britain and Ireland, I was surprised to see the hay was a straw kind of color. Our hay in the States, even the grass hay, is green.

Always the struggle to find that elusive shearer that will do a small flock. I live in Wyoming where shearers come from Australia and New Zealand. They do flocks of a thousand or more. Naturally they are not much interested in doing small flocks. We generally had to depend on an itinerant shearer showing up. However, in the past twenty years, young people have found that there are more and more small flock owners to take it up as a career. Out west here, flock owners get together and bring a shearer in to do everyone in a central place, making it worthwhile for the shearer. In the east where the farms are closer together they have more opportunities to get a shearer to come to your farm. Of course, everywhere it depends on the weather, the shearer not breaking down somewhere, their getting delayed at a stop before you. Always a relief when shearing is in the rear view mirror.

I have a shearer that is coming but the weather as well here hasn't been great some times or the shearer busy doing other flocks

What breed of sheep do you have? Do you use or sell their fleeces. They look clean enough for hand spinning. Are they a fine wool or a more medium wool?
