Seems optimistic since Kirby themselves claim 132cfm. Theya re unlikely to downplay their own machine. My two Avalirs would like to believe it though!

I have a sanitaire SC679K. I removed the shake out bag and put in red bag that uses f&g bags. I replaced the brush roll with a vibra groom 2 brush roll. The armature was arcing badly so I replaced the 5amp motor with a 9.5 amp motor. I imagine it has a high cfm number.

Careful using the v8 head on the v11 and above. The head's rated for 50 watts while the v11 torque head is rated for 100 watts. That could cause electrical damage to the units and the electrical heads eventually

Wow, this puts a lot of context to things. I've been searching for a central vac to install in my home. I have the canister version of this vertex and I thought it's suction was beast.... until I saw your numbers and the numbers that central vac makers are boasting... If that's the case, hek I might just be fine with even a rubbish central vac, considering most (even the cheap ones) are around 120ish CFM with about 120-150in of sealed pressure.

You have a great collection, however. If I were you, I’d keep the clear out ports (along the wall in the corner by the maytags, its beige). I would also keep the sump pump clear and the HVAC unit completely clear. I had a situation with a sewage ejector one day (sump pump for the downstairs bathroom). Like a month prior, I cleared that area out. I’m glad I did because we had to have an emergency service call. If I didn’t clear it out prior, we would have never gotten to the pump. You never know when you’re going to need to get to those in an “emergency”. You won’t want to move vacuums out of the way when its too late.

There's no seal or gaskets connecting the bottom plate to the housing of the vacuum. Just plastic on plastic, so it can leak a ton of sealed suction through the nozzle

@@davisbrady5145 I am a riccar dealer and I have fixed vacuums for over half my life I am in my early 40s I have sold hundreds of R25 series and have many pleased customers as a result of that anyone that doesn't believe these are good vacuums doesn't know anything about vacuums they have good airflow

I'm also a riccar dealer, I never said they didn't have good nozzle airflow. They do. They just don't have good sealed suction at the nozzle.

I have a question what is the best bag upright vacuum with attachments and what is the best canister vacuum with attachments I have a rainbow home cleaning system which is a canister vac that uses water and it's okay but if you have a larger house that's more cleaning because you're pulling that thing and sometimes the dolly gets stuck and then got the it's just a lot of work I mean it cleans really well I like the fact that there's no bags or filters it's just straight water but I was shocked to find out that my rainbow had a big a big helper filter in the back of the unit so I'm just asking what is the best upright vacuum with tools or a canister vacuum with tools I prefer uprights though God bless

I'm surprised it's taken any vac company as long as it did to really dig into anti tangle brush rolls. Sharks is good but not great. This has been a huge issue for YEARS on all vacs. Ok happy to see some advancements lol

Something I have been wanting to see is the percentage and ratio of airflow (at the cleaner head) lost on the Tandem Air vac with both motors engaged vs a traditional clean air vacuum when vacuuming dust and sand. Basically, the point to my question: Is/would the tandem vac be able to maintain a higher percentage of airflow after vacuuming up just as much material as a clean air vacuum…. Or would the airflow fade at the same rate considering that the filter bag is still getting clogged with dust?
