  Enjoy @GeorgeMcfly55! We loved this place since Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park didnt have electricity when we went. Power is restored now in the provincial Park sites.   The beach is part of the park and I believe you have to camp there to use the beach.

  You can find seafood and beer in some restaurants. In the town of Varadero they are all over the place. For the Catamaran to Cayo Blanco they serve only Rum Cola/Orange Cola. Cayo Blanco has a buffet there and they have some sea food dishes and beer too. Enjoy!🍻

  The excursion is worth if you haven't been in a catamaran. And the Dolphinarium The beach seemed clearer in Varadero Beach.

  You can pay Visa or MasterCard if you book with your Hotel. We booked thru a local guide and we paid in cash.

  I just booked at this park for August this year. We are tent campers. Your video was very helpful and answered a lot of questions I had, especially the nearby towns. Always handy to know if you need supplies. I subscribed and will follow for more great camping spots and ideas. Cheers

  What a great video! So much information and suggestions for a trip, especially the site recommendations. Our main concern are the roads and terrain on Rte 132 with regards to towing. Would hate to over exert the transmission. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures!

  Thanks so much, we’re glad we could share and help out for your upcoming trip. The roads are in good condition. The challenge we found was in there being a lot of twists and turns and steep inclines and declines, I believe more from Gaspe to Perce. Just drive at an appropriate speed with your tow in mind and you should be fine. Take your time on your drive and enjoy the beautiful views all around. Also plan your drive during day light to avoid travelling when it starts to gets dark due to the up and downs of the route but otherwise it’s a breathtaking drive. Have a great time!😊

  Thank you glad it helped you. Lots of twists and turns going thru Gaspe especially to Perce. Wore out our new China bomb tires going there. Luckily I was able to find a replacement in a Canadian Tire in the town of Gaspe. Otherwise this was an amazing place to visit.

  It was interested to hear where you would be travelling in eastern Quebec given that I am originally from the Gaspésie. I have lived in Ottawa for 25 years but grew up in the town of Gaspé and I think you are going to love it there. It is one of the most beautiful places in Canada. Enjoy!

  I would suggest the West Campground site 1-12. It's partially shaded and would be good for a portable solar set up. Hope you can book it, they go by fast! Happy camping😀

  We booked on the spot but we were lucky. I suggest booking in advance specially if it's for a day pass. Yes you can BBQ in the park. They have charcoal BBQs in the park just before the beach.

  Just an update: For the dump station the water hose is NOT threaded however the hose to fill up fresh water is. Enjoy everyone😊
