    Neither the Terminator nor Aliens are “cult”films

  • @XofHope
    @XofHopeКүн бұрын

    Yes, they are. A cult film isn't just one that's mostly unknown to the general public but with a small, dedicated fan club. It's having fans that still watch it regularly, promote events based on it, still produce derivate fanworks, etc that gives a film cult status. Aliens and Terminator just happen to be big, well known cult films.

    Prometheus was sheer trash, erasing the mystique of the Alien, being explained away as some class project by the android. What utter crap.

    I think most people who have never acted tend to glorify film actors to an extent far beyond what real talent they may have. Most project their memories of their youth 40 years ago onto some person who happened to be in a movie they saw back then. Its predictable and its silly.

    I was listening to somebody talk about this stand-up comedian who had a very successful film career and was surprise when they weren't able to go back to stand-up comedy but the thing is it's like being a shark they never sleep sharks never do actually that's a bad analogy because I think you could actually take a year off do something else come back insanely reinvigorated and really kill but like if they give you a contractors that's insane and all you have to do now is do a sitcom well that's a lot easier than and remember now that you're America's dad you can't play Blue well that didn't seem to hold back Bob Saget but that's because he kept moving and he made himself relevant I do think he wasn't necessarily playing as blue is he dead he was more clean in that era but it's a lot harder to play clean although if someone wants to say that he lost a bit insanely blue they may have a point because I really wasn't paying attention to Bob Saget at all until of course he went quite blue

    i REALLY di REALLY dont understand what they see so horribly in alice in wonderland. For me is like avatar, it doesn't have THE script, but its a good film and the visuals are A M A Z I N G. And alice and avatar both are a genre that the most of people (adult audience) don't respect fantasy films like other universes and type of worlds. This film only could be the 6* film of history of making 1 billion box office if the script was accessible to all audiences understand it. I feel this.

    The timeline is off, Superman Lives was supposed to film in 1997 and Burton was recommended by Kevin Smith. Burton brought Cage on board. This was not between Batman films. Also the reason Burton didn't directed Nightmare is because he was doing Batman Returns.

    I've certainly been wrong before, and I love Biehn's work, but if he's quit drinking my grandmother'd be a wagon <said in Scottish accent>. Watch his recent interviews, his hands shake so bad that if he's not still an alcoholic, he'd better say "Norman, the loons, the loons" in is next public appearance. C'mon guys, this is Hollywood. Even after heart surgery, the best acting is done during pub tours, not in the movies. It breaks everyone sooner or later.

    I always wondered why he wasn't a huge star ⭐ I was born in 1975 and ever since I saw him in the original Terminator I was a huge fan. Anytime I saw him I wanted to see the movie, anytime I saw a movie and he showed up I was always happy. He was extremely good-looking, charming and just had that cool factor. He should have been a huge star! That's what I always thought and to this day I'm a huge fan.
