  Sir or Ms.,I don't think this great singing lady was trying to synchronize. I believe she was listening admiringly to her singing & mouthing some of the lyrics. She was comfortably sitting down which would have been difficult to sing.

  I first heard of Sissel when I heard her singing 'Solveigs Song' by Edvard Grieg; so lovely . Anyway, last month, on vacation, I drove through the town of Kyrkjebø in Norway, on my way to Balestrand, ready to pay her a visit, but... no Sissel to be found ! Later, I heard she is from Bergen...Lovely detail: I saw/heard her perform on TV on the morning of May 17th, the Norwegian Constitution Day

  I'm always overcome by Sissel's poise. She never seems to make a false move, sign of an integrated personality & one that will capture & hold a viewer's attention.

  One sees our friend so eloquently expressing a wish to seek & understand, to appreciate new perspectives in a clean functional way. What really is important? What do we really need? A very opposite approach to life from gross materialism. A search for ultimate value, perhaps in line with spiritual thinking. As a minimalist one can relate. And Sissel's way of framing her thoughts is pristine, clean & fresh. You know that phenomenon or technique in Russian literature called, "making it strange." And this so as to get more than a mundane perspective on the everyday state of appearances. A different way of seeing. To be sure anyone's critique of a piece of art is so subjective.
