  you need the bg3 mod manager: github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager once it's installed, run it and click "Tools" on the top panel -> Download and extract the Script Extender then launch the game once so the script extender installs itself now you can import the Hugs mod (the Kisses mod requires it, too) click "File" -> Import Mod once you imported everything you wanted, click File -> Reload All if the new mods are in the right (Inactive) column, drag them to the left column (but do not touch DiceSet_06 and Honour, leave them on the right), then click File -> Export Order to Game you're done!

  Its something little, but i love how spawn astarion's face softens and looks lighter. Whereas the shadowing on ascended astarion's face darkens and because more prominent.

  I killed the orthon, had Excellent approval, and did two LRs afterwards, but I couldn’t make this scene pop. I had to settle for the one with the annoying drow chick 😒

  I might just have piss poor memory, but my first playthrough Astarion didn't try to deceive them when the spawn attacked camp. Are there multiple variations of this event, or am I just crazy?

  Triggered this literally after the bite scene. The morning after when everyone was talking about astarion being a vampire. And I chose the option. If you don’t like it. You can leave. And boom. Propositioned me.

  My gale was wearing the robe of the weave and the cloak that you find in ketheric's room but what really gave orin away right away was that the clothes weren't dyed blue. I dyed gales armor blue because I love him in blue but orin had the armors original color. So I knew It was her right away, she could have fooled me for a min if she had just dyed the clothes

  You can give hugs as a shortie, but tall races can't hug short npcs at this time. I'm working on a solution

  @@snowblack932 I’m guessing the issue is there is no pre set animation of NPC shorties getting hugs from the MC perspective, whereas there are presets of short MC receiving hugs (Astarion confession, epilogue interactions etc). Any modder for that would likely have to be an animator as well to make it happen rather than pulling from files that already exist because they’d basically be making animation from scratch. (Not the dog but you know what I mean)

  2:35 I don't quite remember how I got this ending in my last playthrough. Gale and my Tav had a rather good relationship with one another- completely platonic by the way. But in the end after defeating the Netherbrain, he was still hellbent on going after the crown after it fell into the water. I broke the contract between Raph and I so he couldn't get the crown, so my ending was a little different to this one the way it played out wise. But my point is: I accidentally failed a dice roll to convince him to give the crown to mystra (I don't remember how to get that option in the post-deafeated netherbrain conversation, because the playthrough i did AFTER that playthrough I got different dialogue options, even with the same relationship status. But I digress. I pretty much failed to convince him to give it to Mystra, and he got all salty and said that I didn't believe in him yada yada, which, fair enough, I was practically telling him to give up lmao. So yeah Gale just completely disregards all that we, including our party had gone through to get to the final endgame and saunters off to go and either find the crown or make a new one on his own? I don't remember what it was, but it's either of those. So then comes the epilogue party, where I see a hologram of Gale rather than his physical self. Why? He's dead, the hologram states, just as this video shows. It was the same outcome but for different circumstances I believe (and here I am remembering the "17000 endings to baldur's gate"). This part in particular broke me; not being able to hug gale as a final goodbye, and even seeing that, although it's a pre-recorded sort of hologram, it still portrays that sorrow after failing to comfort Tav and give them a hug. I couldn't wrap my head around this part man. I love gale, and hearing word from a hologram that he was dead just h u r t. And the LOOK ON TAV'S FACE WHEN HE SAID THOSE FINAL WORDS BRAH. "And to think godhood was worth losing all of this" NAHHHH this shit had me SOBBING. and the letter bro, don't even get me started

  I didn't play early access, but I'm happy with how the character designs changed and got more polished. I hope that instead of the dlc we'll never get that some of the recorded cut content might be added back in future patches though. Some of this conversation is added in a bit better though in the final version, but it depends upon your playthrough choices.
