Hello, what kind of led walls do you use and what is the pixel pitch? Thanks.

LED walls are great when A: you have a massive one B: You have enough physical set to "Ground" the subject

I've noticed the train scene rendering out of unreal engine already looks graded plus the model textures a bit stylized which leads the immersion to look unbelievable.

You are doing great, actually I am from a Chinese LED display company, and I know the manufacturer of the display you are using. We also produce display products with the same configuration as theirs, but I want to learn about virtual shooting A lot of knowledge, such as the operation and setting of the camera and tracking device, how to output the picture of the specified position in the scene to the display screen, because in fact we have used the 3-sided display screen many times to do the XR scene, but They are all done by others, so I also want to know the specific operation process here;

The background always looks out of focus from where it should be at. I hated this in the Batman movie. Its promising tech but I think its being overused now and should be balanced with green screen shots where needed. The set is just too small and you can tell, where as filming on Blue screen can be done outdoors even on a very large open set with blue screen walls put up only where they need them.

This is awesome for proof of concept. We are also starting to use our 3mm wall for this work. What was your 3D environment/tracking workflow? This is the only step I’m missing. Seems like some sort of oculus device that interacts with computer software and sends POV to video wall/processor?

can the led display used as backdrop for photographer in event ?
@khhnator2 жыл бұрын
so i'm thinking here, if you can track the camera position and direction, then you can render the background again from those angles but without the actors then you can just mix both images to create a mask of the actors from the scene just like a green screen. that means your LED wall doesn't really need to be amazing as it doesn't need to be the actual image used in the final scene, because you can always replace it with a better version of the background rendered latter. sure you still want the led wall to create the light and be good enough for the actors and the cropping. but it probably doesn't need to be very good
