  BTW I don't think throwing enemies at the screen is random in either version, it has to do with which direction you hold when you attack, how the enemy is posed, and how close you are to them.

  One of the very rare home console ports that's actually better than the arcade. Sure, there are a couple of sacrifices, but nothing that affects gameplay.

  I hate to be the one to ask, but what makes castlevania so interesting to people? I love the soundtrack from what i can hear and im partial to good pixel art. But why is it grouped with metroid in a "metroidvania" style of gameplay? I just started getting into metroid and i absolutely love it. The bosses bring the entire game together. But from what i can see this is just a guy walking around whipping skeletons? Im interested in trying it if theres more to it, especially if its anywhere near as good as metroid is so far. Just finished zero mission, and just beat crocomire in super metroid. Its awesome.

  I can remember having this game as a small child and thinking to myself how freaking cool the opening sequence was. I had it for the Genesis, played it all the time.

  If only the actual game was as good as the opening I always called it sonic labyrinth 2 because in labyrinth, he was slow and sluggish but in 3d blast he’s too slippery to control

  Genesis is really missing the sound effects. SNES has the best sound but NES best colors. GB is awful lol.

  I just played through them both back to back, and the NES version really is essentially a whole new game as far as stage layouts go. Besides a couple of set pieces like the cranes and the waterfall, they really are different games.

  Whether it's Doom, Duke Nukem or Dark Forces, I will always appreciate the Source Ports using vertical camera aiming rather than auto locking the fire to enemies above or below you. Being able to physically look up or down is so much more appealing and exciting than being locked at eye level.

  The only difference i see between all four versions of deception/unchained is that konquest is unfinished for the ps2 and xbox. example being when your training with sub zero it immediately finishes no fight afterwards . As for the GameCube and psp version you fight him after you finish training. Other than that everything else is exactly the same
