Thank you for your rendering of this song. I came across this piece in the book mentioned in the description almost by accident, and decided I should learn it. When it comes to songs without words, Mendelssohn is unsurpassed. I wonder if this piece is somehow catalogued. I've been searching the internet for some information, but all I get is hyperlinks to videos like this. I wonder if you might kindly provide some data. Incidentally, your parlor looks simply beautiful! Warm greetings from Mexico.

Thank you for your kind comments. I also am having trouble finding an opus number for this work. It is not The Joyous Peasant which is a "Song Without Words". If I am successful at finding more data, will let you know.

Lovely. The piano is such a beautiful instrument. How it came into existence idk, but it seems so natural. As if some divine instruction were behind its emergence.

That was such fun! I liked the tempo but do you think it might scare a student! I’ve never had to try and teach the piece so I defer tempo to you!!!!
@elizabethzablockizawadowsk908018 күн бұрын
I think this tempo would definitely scare some. It would sound good as well at a slower tempo and still be fun, so I think a slower tempo should also be posted. Stay tuned!

I was so looking forward to these last two selections with Japanese themes…and your gentle interpretation did not disappoint! I am very attracted to oriental music. In fact I purchased many cassettes of Chinese music when I lived in Chicago…bought them in China town. (The younger subscribers will wonder what cassettes are!) You took me to a place of meditation…I hope you select more oriental music.
