    I'd be interested in a discussion on the application of qualitative and quantitive metrics and their application and weightings in the analysis of stochastic processes. I think statistical modelling will influence transfer business far more than Arne Slots opinion. Edwards might call on Ludonautics. Slot will coach and face the camera. That's it.

    We need Bajetic to become the second coming OR buy a destroyer to rival Stan in his prime A forward to replace Diaz with less flash and more conversions - I say Diaz because he’s most sellable to Europe A centre half not as injury prone as Matip

    According to journalists from Portugal, Liverpool might be looking to smash our transfer fee record for Smith from Sporting Lisbon. Canadian phenom with 13 goals and 8 assists last season. Arsenal are also rumoured to be interested. Huge statement from Liverpool if it does happen.

    @georgeabaidoo4530 I don't know tbh. I'm fairly happy with our squad other than in defence. Hopefully Doke or Gordon can step up as 6th forward? Koumas maybe? I'd rather them than spending 50m on the options I've seen

    Edwards' previous strategy was to sign players with a MINIMUM of 180 career games (more often 200-240) and, when it comes to forwards, three years of consistent goalscoring - usually at about a goal every 3 games - who cost about £40-50m. Summerville does not meet those criteria and neither does Bakoyoko.

  • @josephc.4402

    @@josephc.4402 Maybe but I think they’ll stick to that profile - over taking a punt on a pricey, untried youngster like Summerville.

    FSG didn't bolster the defence in the summer or January windows. FATE Some players got injuries, and our medical and conditioning team hadn't got used to Klopp's use of players. FATE Some subjective refereeing decisions didn't go our way. FATE Drivel.

    I don't think we need more than 2 coming in. Matip replacement, probably a DM. 5 attackers is enough if staff feel Gordon or Doke can step it up a level. My 2 pence anyway

  • @splinter360
    @splinter360Күн бұрын

    @@John-se3fm It's really not hard to improve on the 10% & 11% conversion rates Nunez and Diaz put up. Anthony Gordon at Newcastle for starters is far more composed, direct and product than Diaz. His mate Isak is the polar of Nunez in front of goal. I'd take either of them while Newcastle struggle with FFP.

  • @John-se3fm
    @John-se3fmКүн бұрын

    @splinter360 if possible they'd be good but not sure if it's likely. Also Isak only started 23 odd games in the league, we can't have another Jota. Gordon is a good shout but that's £100m right there, minimum 80. Can't see either happening

    This fawning over pep is sickening. Var and the refs helped out city in the 2 seasons that we so called lost the league by 1 point. Stop it.

  • @splinter360
    @splinter360Күн бұрын

    VAR and refs isn't the reason they've won 4 in a row or a treble last year. Let's not be silly. Pep is great. The issue is his club have cheated to put the team together.

  • @jcem1564
    @jcem1564Күн бұрын

    @@splinter360 Its not silly in any way thank you. It may be in the record books that they have won 4 in a row, what I’m saying is 2 of those were aided by favourable VAR and Ref decisions. But you are more than entitled to be blinkered. If it’s proven that the 115 charges are null and void then I’m sure you will be more than happy.

  • @dstewusa7054

    @splinter360 If we move the elephant in the room - the fact that City have 35 charges relating to non cooperation from 2018-to present day ASIDE for the moment ….. They were clearly the best team in 20/21 and 23/24 seasons - but in 2018/19 and 21/22 VAR/PGMOL decisions ABSOLUTELY decided where the title went when accumulated- Keita non penalty v Leicester, multiple Rodri handballs v wolves and Everton, super soft penalty as they beat West Ham 1-0 at home etc etc

    Stu sums it up perfectly but i reckon when “our wheels fell off” at the final push it’s because they were putting far too much pressure on themselves to win everything. Ultimately it wasn’t going to be our year because of everything else, including our own shiteness a lot of the time. I want a cold well drilled winning machine, not blood sweat and tears because that costs too much mentality and physically. Klopps way of playing needs a fresh turnover of players regularly to keep the rate of play up, but that stagnated because Klopp also liked to keep players… which actually brought success too, but physically and mentally exhausted players aren’t much good.
