I'm looking for a song called Speed Demon Freeway, either by Daniel or a tribute song of some kind.

I am extremely moved by your comment. I have been a fan of his for many years and have seen/heard just about everything from the "Songs of Pain" album to "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" film. No matter what age or mental/physical condition he was in, he was a brilliant artist and obviously a great friend to everyone who knew him. RIP Danny. I wish we could have hung out and jammed together.

There should be artist covering songs by Daniel instead of having artists perform their own music as a respect type thing but that's just my idea.

We love our high-road, unproblematic, isolated-with-her-purpose queen. Class, art, heart, and depth are the words that come to mind when thinking about her. Nessa, you're my number one most listened artist in 2023. I am a 35 year old married woman from across the world, with a job and a house - your music strikes a chord with many audiences.

Remember that you don’t attract what you want, you attract who you are. So focus on love. Focus on happiness. Focus on feeling fulfilled and like you already have everything you’ve ever wanted. Focus on gratitude. You are a powerful source of energy. When you do this, you will get what you want because you are in alignment and focusing on all you have instead of a lack. Just know you have everything you have ever wanted. It’s already yours . Be joyful! Sending loving energy to you all. ❤️

For those of you that see Daniel like this, it's different for me. I look and see my teenage friend that was awesome, sitting in his parents basement playing my guitar along with his piano playing and listening to all the songs he made back then. Sitting at a table and drawing, trying to learn from him. On one of his recording he had a cow mooing..I remember the toy he used to make that moo. His Mom would make lunch for us. She would be reading her Louis L'amour western books. His dad reading the paper never saying very much. I called him Danny back then. Best friend a boy could have.

Idk why but I love hearing from and knowing his old friends are still alive and telling stories about him. This dude is an absolute legend. I really wish some band or songwriter would cover his entire catalog from top to bottom so that maybe it got more mainstream play and people could truly hear what a genius this guy was/is. I know a bunch of famous musicians did an album of his songs but it would be really awesome if someone with the ear for producing and musicianship would do them all. I think people would be amazed to find out that the majority of his work is filled with songs that would be #1 hits with the write musicians/producers.
