  Hey Jonny, found your video as I was searching ahead of running this race next month. Would you say trail shoes are a must? Couldn't see any majorly technical sections on the video, do you reckon road shoes would be ok?

  Hi thanks for watching my video, I wore trail shoes for the event as the paths were quite rocky, and some of stone was slippy in the Forest section of the race. It was my first big trail event so I wore those type of shoes, but if your use to that terrain you could be ok in road shoes. It’s definitely a gruelling course but that was just my opinion.
