  I thought women had more sense, don't know why the algorithm sent it me. I honestly prefer the crashy, tree hitting 1s where common sense is rewarded & not ppl getting lucky. All the wing-suit hero's die if they stay at it long enough, so many accident video's!!

  Oh my gosh thank you so much for this comment. What an honor… you give me a chance to explain to you my background. I have a degree in Engineering… theoretical aerodynamics- fluid dynamics to be honest. I have spent the last 22 years learning, practicing, and instructing skydiving, wingsuit, BASE jumping, speed flying, paragliding, and other forms of flight! I in fact made an incredibly intentional and thought out choice on ALL the aspects of this exact jump. Conditions, gear choice, judgement, mental state, training, flight path, and many other aspects.

  I live in SB. Are you still out here? Would you be interested in being hired to consult/help a newbie figure out a gear plan since you seem to have exactly the types of setups I want? Possibly lessons if you wanted, but I’m guessing you’re too busy for that (NBD if no on lessons, there are lots of experienced instructors around here).

  So you buy your wing suit, watch a couple of videos, but then comes the first time to throw yourself off a mountain and hope that you get it right…..I cannot imagine what that must be like……but thanks for sharing….this is as close as I want to get to this ‘sport’.

  for me, who have had experience of some extreme sports in the air, I think that flying with a wingsuit is beautiful, the best, even if I have never tried it. but I also know that it is very expensive....extreme sports are generally expensive, but this beats them all...I wanted to do them in tandem but...the price is too high

  Nice! How did you like the punk. I have a friend, old timer HG pilot turned PG pilot and he’s been flying PG for probably 15-20 years now. He doesn’t like to spend money on gear he gets hand me downs lol. Anyway he flies a ragged out old delta 1, yea a delta 1, that’s how old it is lol. Someone gave him a punk and it was crispy and almost brand new, he really didn’t like it and gave it back, still flying the old Delta lol. But I’ve seen a lot of people that like the punk, just curious of your opinion. I currently fly the phi maestro 2 light and it’s an incredible glider, love everything about it. I flew UP before switching to Phi and UP is great but I’m really sold on phi now

  I LOVE my punk, I have two. I also like the delta one as well it’s a great old dune beater. Unfortunately BGD doesn’t make the punk anymore but for my style of flying I absolutely love it so I take good care of mine. I love the feed back and responsiveness but also the passive stability
