  Essential materials 1. Bring/Use shower shoes. 2. Use shower caddy 3. Use shower robe 4. Shower cap What to do: 1. Always clean up after yourself 2. Take your shower late at night or mid day 3. Bring a spray to mask the smell of your poop when you shit 4. Don't forget your room key in the room

  1. Spend as much time as you can with your family/whoever is moving you in 2. Go to all the first week/freshman/welcome events 3. Be open to making friends with different kinds of people 4. Go to the club/organization fairs 5. Find where your classes are before your first day of classes 6. Call home. Don't forget about your family and friends 7. Ask for help when you need it 8. Go out and have fun

  my roommie does if its yellow let it mellow if its brown flush it down.. also leaves a ton of shampoo bottle/conditioner in bathroom tub. those are good questions to ask too. maybe on day 2

  when I went to a collage open day the decor they had in the show rooms were a couple of photos in frames that were small, a colorful pencil cup and a poster. that's it - dorms are not big. realistically the people giving the tour said that if it doesn't fit in a standard suitcase and or a standard school backpack, you probably don't need it. most dorms that I have seen have catering and laundries and libraries so don't bother with the extra stuff.
