    Yes I used partially dried dates (still called Khajur). Chhuhaara can also be used. However being very dry and hard it will be difficult to deseed and chop these. But quicker to crisp dry though.

  • @CooknCreateHealth
    @CooknCreateHealth4 ай бұрын

    You can add equal amount of maple syrup or replace with brown sugar. If using brown sugar, you may need to add little extra.....2/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup. Also you may need some extra liquid to compensate for liquid in honey. Add 1-2 tbsp milk, if needed, to get dough into right consistency.

    Yes, definitely you can. Baking powder ensures a lighter texture so without it biscuits may be a little denser. But this won't affect the taste.

    @@snehagadge1922 Ragi, depending on the quality of seeds, sometimes is difficult to sprout. It can take longer and may not sprout at all if seeds are old. You can steam if you prefer whole ragi in your cutlets or just do a quick run in mixi without adding any water or just very minimum water. Hope this works for you. Good luck👍

  • @CooknCreateHealth

    You are right and if you look carefully ingredients list does mention that lentils are washed and dried. It doesn't need to be completely dry as lentils will be roasted before grinding. Just getting rid of excess moisture by rubbing between kitchen towel will be enough before using in the recipe.

    hi just wondering why you are not sealing the jars hot to make a sealed vacuum for hygiene and keeping out bacteria

  • @CooknCreateHealth
    @CooknCreateHealth10 ай бұрын

    Hi, yes you can seal jars while it is still hot and this is common practice. I have, however, always let the contents come to room temperature before closing lids and never had any issue. Guess high vinegar and sugar act as preservatives in chutneys/sauces and I make sure there is no contamination around while jars/bottles are cooling.

    Hi, using lentil powder/flour is quick and easy way to make crackers. You can use soaked/cooked lentils also but procedure will be longer as you will be dealing with a wet batter as compared to dough in this case.
