  The SA airport is so sad and old. Even inviting family to the city is embarrassing. Everytime I arrive to San Antonio I don’t feel at home. We are in the future, not 1988 and our airport needs to reflect that. Hopefully these upgrades take a turn for the better and they don’t take long to complete and open to the public. Unfinished construction is a huge problem in SA. You also forgot to ask what year do we expect these upgrades to finish!

  City proposal remains unchanged. This offer does not give firefighters fair wages for the cost of living in COSA. Surrounding FDs within Bexar County are getting higher wages despite having smaller municipalities and less duties. Inflation has effected everyone, including FFs.

  One would hope they are also planting native trees along these pathways for shade for future generations. Simple editions. Tell people they can put their names on the trees for sponsorship. Helps with road rubber and vehicle pollution. Will also give the grackles on sw military and other commercial highways in town somewhere to go. Helps with flooding topsoil runoff and roaches also, something SA is also known for.

It's a completely free service and you can learn a lot really quickly, including major possibly obstacles like whether you can get additional meters without replatting, checking to see if zoning is approved, if there's a historic district of neighborhood conservation district, etc.

  Imagine all the jewelry and as in diamond rings ear rings and gold watches braclets and necklaces that get thrown into river or falls off ppla bodies. I talked to one of the workers that was draining the river and was working on the river walk part and he said he already found 5k dollars in jewelry that he had sold that week at paaw. Shops as scrap gold silver and he said the few diamond jewelry he found he took to a jewelers and sold it there. He said he loves clean up time for the river cause he finds all kinds of stuff like valuable sunglasses cash that is able to be cleaned and dried and usable and tons of quarters and change that adds up very fast. He said he averages 9k in money from everyone finds and sells or keeps in cash combined
