Great video! How was the weather when you got to the sea and the ports? My family and I are going on the same cruise in February 2025. I've read when you leave Galveston in February it's like in the 60s? I've only gone on cruises leaving from Miami, so I wonder how this weather compares. :)

Yes Galveston can be 50’s - 70’s but the ports are all in the high 70’s to low 90’s

I was on the jubilee about a month or so ago and this same situation happened to us! We were so close to land and they turned around and left. I’m not sure what is going on with this port but I would say they should take it off the list. I’m in plenty of facebook groups that have said that have had the same outcome. It’s such a let down!

So we pay around $1000-1400 per cruise for 2 people. The Alaska cruise we are all taking is an all inclusive style so it’s more expensive but you get more for it. You usually have to pay for 2 passengers even if you go by yourself. So solo cruising can be a bit expensive.

Do watch 'Cruise with Ben and David" they do cruise reviews ever Sunday. They recently went on the Icon of the Seas and did a video or 3 on it. BEN is really funny and makes funny saying orinnuendo. .

Yes! Agree those huevos rancheros in the blue iguana are the best breakfast on carnival hands down. My favorite and the line is always pretty short, shhhh don’t give away our secret haha 😂.

Pro tip for shower curtains that cling: Bring a clear shower liner from The Dollar Store and a few small binder clips, clip curtains together at the top. No more clingy curtain!

While walking around the ship, I bring my phone so that I can use the app and video. I will also usually walk with a water cup and my ship card that I always bring my backpack that has my phone ID cash credit cards and ship card. Also bring sunglasses a hat, a towel for my backpack. This might be a good topic for a video.

We were on this ship with you guys. Ive seen us in a couple of your 1st videos in Main Dining room. We sat behind your friends, or in front of yall in MDR. We had our two 1 year olds with is. I found you after the cruise or I totally would have said hello! Ive watched every video! We also have a mini homestead so I enjoy watching that chanel too! Thanks for your content!

I’m with you. I like to get up & not be rushed. Eat breakfast, No luggage, walk around then get off. Calm and peaceful. This was a fun vacation. Glad you had a great time.
