I am a Buffalo-based multi-instrumentalist with classical background in piano and violin and a master's degree in ethnomusicology. I am best known for my work as a violinist in genres as diverse as Americana, Celtic music, rock, hip hop, polka, and punk. I play with an array of bands including the Buffalo Bluegrass Allstars, Creek Bend (bluegrass), McCarthyizm (alt/Celtic rock), Captain Tom & The Hooligans (polka), Finnegan's Punch (Irish folk), Celtic Spirit Pipe Band (Scottish pipe and drum), and Over & Out (indie folk punk), and I collaborate regularly with indie artists Chuckie Campbell (hip hop), Stress Dolls (alt rock), Koko Neetz (indie), and Christina Stock (indie pop). I have performed live at hundreds of events across New York State over the last decade. I also regularly record for both professional and personal projects based in Buffalo and Western New York.
