Actually if it breaks a torah rule not true, you can honor your father but not his wishes. He was honoring his father. Lets say your father had a vendetta? Should you follow his orders to carry that out and if you dont you dishonor him? A false sentiment. You can hinor him in many ways but no one may obligate you to break a torah law. Thank you for such a fascinating presentation!
