Whoa! Didn’t realize how much the parachute assembly really slows the weapons decent!

Red Flag has turned out to be the exact opposite of these good ole days. Debriefs are power point hel. The weapon school mafia just destroyed it. The only game in town that still awesome learning and still pretty chill is USN Air Fallon. Red Flag and any event at Nellis is dead to me.

You should try Disney. You don't even have to be around kids, there a lot of quiet adult spaces that aren't even that crowded because most of them are taking care of their kid.

My guess is mid-80s. When I left SAC as an AC at the end of 1985, we only had a few birds in the "lizard" green paint scheme. Most were still in the SIOP scheme that included the three greens on top and white undersides with the white noses.

All that's missing is seeing a big Texan riding one of these waving his Stetson as he and the bomb falls earthwards. All to the tune of When Johnny Comes Marching Home of course!

And what you don't see in this video are the RN and Nav downstairs and the EW behind the pilot's all getting sick as dogs from the turbulence, while the P and CP are saying, "let's make a couple more racetracks on the RBS site, while the rest of the crew is saying "no, no, let's return to base (RTB), enough already!" Been there, done that, for many years.

That is some amazing footage you have there. I know there are places that can clean that up, this is a real bit of SAC history here and should be preserved.
