  What I still don’t really understand is how they’re able to get abilities/gifts from Aeons/Paths they aren’t actually following/worshiping? & why they don’t get abilities from the Aeons they ARE following/worshiping? If someone could please explain I would appreciate it 😅 🙏

  So to keep this simple: They DO get their powers from the paths they follow, for example Sparkle! She can do what she can because she gains her powers from the path of Elation. The reason her path in game is Harmony is just because she is a character that focusses on buffing allies. Every path that is shown in game is nothing more than their RPG game role: (Hunt: Single target DPS, Abundance: Healer, Preservation: Tank Although sometimes hoyo tries to make it make a little sense, like how Jing Yuan is a very smart guy so Erudition kinda, sort of, fits his in game path. Even though IN LORE he gets his powers from the path of The Hunt. Hope this helps 🙂

  @@MrLoreAddict Ohhhh so if I’m understanding you correctly; their path is strictly just for gameplay purposes..? But lore wise, they’ve obtained their “powers” through the Aeons they actually follow? Like how you said Sparkle - She clearly follows Aha the Elation…but gameplay wise she’s Harmony strictly because she’s a buffer. (Orrr how: Jingyuan follows Lan The Hunt, but for gameplay purposes he’s Erudition cause he’s a multi-target DPS. - Or Argenti clearly worships Idrilla the Beauty 😅 but is also Erudition cause he’s another multi-target DPS)

Also, if no one minds this, I just came up with an Alignment Chart for the factions: Lawful Good: -Xianzhou Alliance -Belobog (Post-Cocolia) Neutral Good: -Astral Express Chaotic Good: -Galaxy Rangers Lawful Neutral: -The Family True Neutral: -Genius Society Chaotic Neutral: -Stellaron Hunters -Genius Society Lawful Evil: -IPC Neutral Evil: -The Swarm Chaotic Evil: -Annhilation Gang -Antimatter Legion Anyways, these are just thw factions I am somewhat confident fit into their alignment, I'd like to hear what other people think are the alignments of the factions not mentioned, or try to correct me here in case I made a mistake.

  I mean there's a world quest in penacony about how the IPC destroyed 7 planets and killed billions of people with a nuclear weapon just for funsies when the intended use of the weapon was to destroy the antimatter legion/annihilation gang The guy who created the weapon refused to make another one nor give them info on how to recreate it so they held him captive for the rest of his life, and the second he died extracted his memories using memoria to try and take it forcibly. He was so insistent on them never letting it happen again that his consciousness held on and he remained trapped in the dreamscape under watch for multiple decades until you help him escape and set him free That quest shows really well (along with the loading screen about the ipc) that them doing everything "for qlipoth" is a giant lie they make even their own employees believe. They don't actually follow the preservation and actively go against qlipoth's beliefs, but keeping up that facade is in their best interest to make themselves look better

  I gotta say, the Harmony and Family is the most disappointing. An entire massive story arc, and by the end of it, the only single character that we got that actually follows that path truly, is Robin :,( I had honestly wished to see more Family characters. And the story seems to insinuate were done with the Family now

  On the contrary- this storyline has opened up many possibilities of seeing Family members at future planets. We now know more about the Family, so we won’t need an exposition dump when we encounter them again. Unlike the IPC, the Family isnt evil. Its just the Order’s corruption. I have no doubt that we will encounter more members of the family, in their proper role of helping people.

  I love how even factions on the same path have more nuance that just "hello fellow friend" and actually have a twist on their personal beliefs, just like religions in reality Is particularly interesting to me how the ipc view the arquitects in belobog as "outdated" or "primitive", taking advantage of them or moking them, just like the aventurine opinion about our lance, when in reality belobog is a true follower of the preservation, more than the ipc is in the present, it gives so much life to the world

  An amazing and accurate lore video that’s well written and entertaining??? And you gendered the aeons correctly??? I love everything about this video. People talking about the lore but calling any aeon she or he are ignoring the lore and how they are all so far above humans. Human norms cannot be applied to them. Overall, amazing videos and I really want to hear you go into more depth about the Masked Fools and maybe a lil about the Mourning Actors as well.

  While you're technically right, its Diamond who overall leads the Strategic Investment Department while the Ten Stonehearts are the directors that lead the individual teams within the department. The Ten Stonehearts draw their power directly from Diamond's Emanator power which was indeed bestowed upon him by Qlipoth.

  Small detail about the Masked Fools and Mourning Actors. While the MF do possess masks that give them power it's actually stated in the Fool's Mask curio that they stole the masked from the Mourning Actors, which makes sense with the Mourning Actors Data Bank entry saying Aha gave them power. So rather then Aha giving the Masked Fools the masks the order actually goes Aha -> Mourning Actors -> Masked Fools.

  I will say that the IPC really don't seem like allies, Or at least, everyone OTHER than the 10 Stonehearts, I know Diamond and Jade are actively doing scouting and whatnot for the IPC but even the data bank has actively gone out of it's way to add a whole entry for the Ten Stonehearts even though we have the IPC logged down

  Agreed, although I still get bad vibes from Jade, but that might just be my lack of knowledge about her, I guess the fact that she first appeared in Aventurine's part of the 2.1 story quest in a flashback where he was restrained, the fact she uses a whip/cane hybrid ( both commonly associated with slave owners), the fact she uses lipstick to sign papers (I find the stuff revolting and am generally grossed out or creeped out by lips and anything regarding them, I am okay with how they look in anime and such but in real life I get weirded out by people wanting to color their lips with gross stuff like that, no offense to the people of course) and her Deals she makes at Bonajade Exchange just gives me bad vibes overall, I know I am weird though

  I find her 1-80 character story makes it a lot more obvious that she is autistic, at least in the English version. Can't say with the original Chinese. She also seems to have synesthesia related to emotions.
