  The anime ending is better for me because it just hits different than the manga version, Esdeath dying while holding Tatsumi was beautifull from the love point. ❤

  Dù sao thì kết thúc của bản Anime cũng là kết cục đẹp vì Quân Cách Mạng đã khởi nghĩa thành công, đất nước được xây dựng lại.   Im late to this, but in the manga Leone and Tatsumi, Esdeath and Tatsumi, or Akame and Tatsumi would have made a better ending than Mine and Tatsumi.😭 They don't even seem compatible. But I guess sometimes things don't end the way we hope. Nonetheless, the anime left me feeling happy and a little warmed at the end having Esdeath next to him.

  Most people who prefer the anime ending probably prefer it because it fits more to a dark anime and it has the realism of a hard fight where not everyone comes out alive. That’s nice and all but I think the anime got this ending just because the studio didn’t want to make a season 2 so they had to kill off the story

  I like the anime version. It's more realistic. And it would be great if they also animate Akame's journey. I'm okay with the ending of manga. Except the part, where Tatsumi became Dragon and couldn't change to human form. At least make him could form back as a human. I don't know but I really hate that part. It's more realistic if his Taegu form merge with Emperor Taegu, So Tatsumi's Taegu Upgrade. Or make him lost one hand or foot. But still can use his hand with his Taegu form.
