Does anybody know how to remove the barrel? I was talking in the phone while loading it up and I had a couple batteries in my desk from my Xbox and didn’t notice I had put one in thinking it was a bullet and now it’s stuck
Why remove the barrel?? You can open the shell without removing it

So jealous of your ease of assembly. I just picked up this kit and was putting it together when I discovered the 1.8 spring I got barely fits over the spring rest, to the point I think friction will prevent the spring from compressing / releasing. Guess I have some fun sanding ahead of me 😢
Ho man, I'd say find a better spring and don't sand that parts... Can be ok on a plastic spring guide, but I wouldn't gouge or sand a cnc part. Merchant usually sell spring by the outer diameter, but you need to take into consideration the thickness of the wire. I'd suggest ordering a custom spring of 1mm(or 2mm) larger outer diameter, therefore the thick 1.8 or 2mm wire will not bring your inner diameter "too small".
@@thatoldnerfguy both metal kit and spring were from Monkeemods, so I would have expected them to work together. Most disappointing!

Far be it from 'me' to tell 'you' what to do with 'Your' Sonic-Green Stampede, but it's rare that even them for sale second hand anymore. And if you find one complete with the scope, and bipod, you've really got something now. I don't have any older-clear, or sonic green, or clear-orange, clear-red blasters that I can remember, but I'm told the plastic is slightly more brittle or fragile. I do have ghost-recon flywheel blaster, though I don't remember what they called it. I had planned to use it in a recreation of Cable's Weapon-Amalgamation from Deadpool II. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

You know, looking at the 'High-Perfornance-kit' for the AF Pro blaster, looks like it'd be possible to 'Scravenge' a few parts from those kits to mod Stampedes with.

Ok! Now I'm going to dig my out my old Adventure Force Blaster that I never got around to modding, one of my unmodded Stampedes and duolicate this build along some other improvements I made to another one of my Stampedes. I already have one I've modified with a 6 to 8k from a Stratabow, improved return spring, catch spring, a custom 'Sleeper'Breach' and brass barrel. It was an old full length dart mod that would only accept Elite darts. I never tried AF-Pros, 'Cause I was the middle of too many different things and I never got back to if.

Hey Brother. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for giving the Stampede some love. It has long been my overall favorite battery operated Nerf blaster.
My barrel won’t come out and the rear grip won’t seperatre
You need to put a bit more force to unclip the front... For the grip, I have a dedicated video for it

I agree 100% this blaster has SO MUCH potential! I didn't see any considerable bumps in performance until I swapped 100% of the O-Rings and Spring. I like your aftermarket barrel though!
More to come... I'll try to fit a Caliburn metal plunger in, give it a good paint job and some hand made wood panels on the side(where the side picatinny were meant to be) and wood pump grip(modeled after the Trion one). I haven't changed spring yet...This blaster just need a good seal and way more barrel

@@notnuffnerf Nope... With that size of plunger tube and travel, it's asking for more. The Stock barrel is too loose, creating seal issue with the dart(whatever oring you put on the pusher), therefore friction/loss of pressure and accuracy. Little math confirm that even on stock spring it needs more. I mean Harrier is best tune at 450 whatever the spring(for most play)....This is Caliburn size, it needs more
@@thatoldnerfguy it’s probably engineered this way on purpose due to laws in Asia. I put a 1.6mm x 300mm spring and full o-ring swap and it only went up to 175fps, so it makes sense the barrel is the culprit. Good observation. Barrel is probably next upgrade on my list.

TBH I can't... I already cut mine off... quite easy to do with a good cutter knife, it's soft plastic

I am learning a lot from you. Now I know how to do Inline clips now with 1/2 brass pipe and a 3/8 copper coupler reducer.
You know i already got one as we talked about my seal issues. So far i just need to get a better plunger tube. Maybe a metal at some point. This should fix the rest of my seal issues. I love it im a sucker for metal unfortunately so i buy them regardless.
I feel you, this one got great potential...I personally don't have issue with the PT(very thick and slick), but maybe metal at some point, but since the original ZWQ S300 was intended to show a metal plunger through a PC plunger Tube, I'll keep it that way for a bit.
@@thatoldnerfguy mine is this to just wasn't bored out right. Where the pusher goes in its so tight i cant put a different oring to help with the seal and im losing air there. The rest of it is good. Haven't measured it to see if there iss a difference but the way it acts tells me there it.

OMG... euh I really just took a slightly tighter(thicker) one... but one of my favorite place is the Plumbing aisle in hardware store and/or autopart outlet... They often offer the needed size

Totally... this War Saint was the 1st ZWQ Blaster, the S100s Baize is basically an updated version of this S100.

I agree with you in regards to the Stryker 2.0, I don't like the looks at all. I also think they would have been better served by calling it the TomCat 2.0. I was able to jump on the X-Shot Fury-X back order band wagon also. Have you been watching the Yeethammer? What are your thoughts on it?

Im excited for the Siren Blink and the Venom pro. Dart zone uploaded more pictures on their website of the box design, blaster internals and more. Im not too interested in the others, maybe the nerf flywheeler for CQB, because those other ones all are a bit clunky for me. I love flywheelers if you couldnt tell lol.

@@thatoldnerfguy My biggest problem withh these releases that all have some kind of flaws. And i don't really understand why, because unless you live on another planet there is plenty of feedback on the internet to have made these designs better.
The siren blasters are being held back. Im sure if you know by now. Its sad but im happy at the same time because all the kinks will be fixed from them.
Yeah, I know...Siren Blaster are Partially held back, The Gnarl will ship on time, but the rest(including the Mags and Darts) are delayed. But I was able to order the Fury-X this morning (it was in stock for like 2hrs). Still searching/waiting for Nerf!!
