Me too! LOL Honestly that has been the hardest part of this journey, especially since I grew up with a very tidy single mom and was one myself. Dogs are no substitutes for children and a family....
No doubt! I have two beautiful children in their 20's who are out in the world adulting. I raised them on my own for over 11 years and now that they are doing their thing, I'm going to do mine! My beautiful pup is my new baby and I adore my time with her. My beautiful momma, who passed at the end of 2020, has relatives all over the country - many that I have never met - and I am sooo excited to visit with them. Thanks so much for your reminder - family IS everything!
