My dad bought one in 95’ after having our house built, traded up to a brand new 2014 John Deere which he’s been using since. I’ve got a lot of spring and summer memories of that mower, always had that high pitched starter sound, and backfired loud when you pulled into the garage and turned it off

Thank you Alex! My husband was away for work and we were having a party. Really needed this blower to work. Followed your instructions. It was a carburetor adjustment. Works like a champ now! Thank you thank you! And to all the wives out there who wait for their husbands….. why??????

I have no grommets on the ends of the top piece so I cant secure it to the poles and front/rear flaps. Is this a defect?

I just bought a Craftsman T110 brand new from Lowes. Loses steering everytime I take it out. BRAND NEW. I've had it 8 weeks. Bringing it back for a FULL refund tomorrow. $2200. Says "Craftsman" on it, but it isn't.

I wouldn’t have known where to start with this machine other than the basics. It starts, runs, turns and cuts well so you have aced it with patience and skill. Anything you get in selling it will be well earned. Thanks for posting a great video!

FYI the way you connected the second solinoid should have made no difftence as it is still having to actuate and run through the original solinoid. Please re connect the wiering as per original way and I bet you it will now work. Cheers Stew.

24:38 Ah yes this happened to me. My brakes were rusty and sticking. I replaced the spindles first thinking it was the spindles. Woopsies. I didn't really mind the preventative maintenance though. haha

How much did you buy the replacement engine for? I see some in my area for around $180(17hp). I have been looking into this just to be ready for when my engine goes out. I bought my L100 last year but I have already put 100 hours on it.

I had a Murray that was a couple of years newer Than that one that I liked a lot. The biggest problem I had with it was the Nikki carb, but once I had Enough of fighting with it, I bought a chinese twenty dollar knock off and it ran just fine after that..😊

She cleaned up really nice! If you gutted the muffler I wonder how much better she would run? I know the Poulan 2150 responds very well to a good muffler mod. Do my eyes deceive me or is that not a clamshell??

That was a startling transformation from what you got in the beginning. Your patience with the float and the carburetor was a good learning exercise. I’d forgotten you can use AT fluid to spruce up the appearance. Great video! Thanks!

I use a IV stand with a auxiliary fuel tank fuel line with a shut off valve that I plug straight into the carburetor side of the fuel line and gravity flow the fuel. It bypasses the fuel pump and the gas tank. Works great for me

May need to go to a thicker oil in the rearend. The thin stuff in it is ok for low speed mowing.

  • @BlackFoxProduc

Now flip the front drive pulley over. You will get decent speed with the small rear pulley.

What kind of rocket scientist thought about mounting a hot muffler right underneath the cylinder head on an air cooled engine ? Did they want it to burn up or overheat on purpose ,so you will buy another one ? Now if i could just find a complete used LA 105 hood for my mower id be a happy camper but the flea bay sellers dont want to ship these things to Canada for some reason even though your paying up front in full with your visa card .......go figure
