  Yes Jonathan Powell told me he added it after he found the EVI mouthpiece to affect his chops even though just blowing. You should reach out to Jonathan for more info!

  Can't wait to get this book by Rick. Any sax player Miles will patiently wait around to hire and/or include in his projects, you can best bet play his behind off, (he did the same with both Grossman and Bill Evans). U of Miami , at the time I was finishing high school, had one of the flyest jazz -studies programs in the Country. When I was making the switch from clarinet to sax, I took private lessons at U of M (dan bonsanti) to get my introduction to saxophone. They ALWAYS have great saxophonists! I'm just picking my horns back up after 20 plus years, and can't wait to get back into it! Stellar musician. Thanks for the post.

  Thanks! I'm glad to know this was helpful for you. Yes I'm a big believer that details matter, but just as much as the overall goal...which for music is emotional connection and feeling from sound and groove (not individual notes)

  Então tu nunca ouviu Bob Berg aliás deveria ter sido ele a substituir k.Garret mas já tinha compromisso assumindo aí sobrou Margitza que na minha opinião não entendeu a proposta do som de Miles e ficou preso dentro de frases técnicas ou seja o Músico que toca o Músico qdo na Banda de Miles o sugerido é a Música tocando o Músico o que poucos chegaram neste nível. J Coltrane,Bill Evans(Sax),Bob Berg e Kenny Garrett Sax Alto que fecha o ciclo c/Miles como no início c/Charlie Parker Sax Alto.
