Great video! Does silicone also remove water from metal etc? And does any silicone spray work?

This is just the video I was hoping to find, after looking everyone on KZread. I just picked up my first ever RC car, a Slash 4x4 VXL, I love it, and want to take good care of it from the beginning.

Very helpful. I couldn't figure out how to start charge for after market Lipo. Didn't know you had to hold both buttons down to initiate. Only used NiMH until now.

Wouldn't it have been easier if you just got a Deans to TRX adapter instead of a "permanent" alternation to the battery? Plus the adapter can be removed and used again if you have multiple batteries.

I’ve melted a gearbox on my 2wd traxxas rustler vxl when doing a speedrun on 3s batteries. Lot of whining all the sudden. Thought maybe it would be ok for a couple of runs but to my surprise it wasn’t.

Question, need advice: I own an Arrma Big Rock and just bit the bullet and got the proline shocks. I live in Florida where it is always hot so I am going to have to test different oil weights to see which is the best for me. My question is, what weights should I buy to test with? I already have 60 & 35 weight. Which other weights should I get? Thanks in advance.

Purchased a case of product based on seeing the success you had. Great Video. However after using it on my ARRMA 6s KRATON I noticed a milky white substance especially where parts are joined. On the bottom of chassis, paint is actually softened and scrapes off with a finger nail ???? I am sure that I dried and wiped the surfaces, but this side effect won't work for me.

Yes. The ultimate uses identical hardware except it already has the blue aluminum bearing carrier/adapter (6893X).

Great video! Many will lean a bunch. However, there's one 'oops' in your installation procedure at 12:10 .....;/ In complete contradiction, and according to Traxxas, the FLAT sides of the pads go against (i.e. face) the steel disc/plate which they rub against ("critical" for maximum friction). Thus the sides with the rounded edges should face the front of the truck, towards the spur gear. In other words, the rounded edges should be facing DOWN when placing them onto the pins of the hub!

The one guy that I been looking for. I have one question. I want to buy a traxxas x maxx, the $999 one. But batteries are too high. What style of connectors the x maxx uses. And would it be best to get an adapter or solder a connector like you did to the battery. I will not be doing any bashing or hard-core. Just speed race. More like a drag race and cruising
