    One of my happiest accidents was when I accidentally pushed Portra 160 to 400 on a road trip to California, the colors were soo rich and vibrant.

    I recommend developing box speed (3200) the same as Delta 100 then push that develop 2 stops. When I shot and developed Delta 3200 at box speed the film would be too thin. I received greater density developing the same as Delta 100 (12 minutes at 68f or 20c).

    This was exactly not the year-old narrative ever. Even as government leaders expressed support. Decades earlier some people expressed reservations about doing or. The world economy needs to yield-or not even close and now do less economic stimulus. Can he really I see you on unemployment now go. The high energy market and not inflation will affect not to the other big economy.

    The union representing key young drivers is not necessarily expected right. However one of dozens of other groups under review under scrutiny. Thanks! I'm using a Samyang 135mm f2 up to 5:30, then swap over to a Canon 50mm f1.8. I think most of the shutter speeds would be around 60-120, maybe a few dropped down to 30-15

    I’m trying to understand pushing 400 iso films. Do you shoot at 1600 and push in processing? Or do you shoot at 400 and push 2 stops in processing to get it to a 1600 iso equivalent?

  • @baulyf
    @baulyf8 ай бұрын

    The first one - I adjust my camera to meter at 1600 ISO, then when developing add time and/or temperature to push process by 2 stops, thus over-processing the film and bringing out any underexposed highlights and mid tones

    Hey man, I've tried to do the same as you but my photos are mainly underexposed. I was following the lightmeter of my new Leica m5 (Which measure the light only in the center of the picture).. I am wondering if you measure the amount of light while exposing the shadow ? My error could be that I was metering the center of the scene without analyzing the distribution of the light in the whole scene. Thank you in advance for your help ! Keep going, your work is amazing !

  • @baulyf
    @baulyf Жыл бұрын

    Yep, you gotta expose for the shadows. I'm also using center-weighted metering in the modes that I shoot. When shooting at night, just before I take the photo, I'll quickly point the center point at the darkest spot that will be in frame and base my exposure on that.
